Nokia 3210, HTC One M8 (i miss this phone) and Huawei P20 Pro best Handy/Smartphones ever built (until now).

I come from the future and in our time there are now smartphones with a complete foldable display, like the Galaxy Z Flip 5 and smartphone manufacturers are slowly starting to integrate a second, smaller display on the back, in addition to the 2–3 cameras.

The battery is still not easy to change in most smartphones, except for the Nokia G22 and the Fairphone 5.

Of course, not to forget that smartphones are also getting faster and bigger. In the past, people often looked at the pixel density of smartphones, but today it is also super important if the display can do more than 60Hz and render content more smoothly.

My first cell phone was as a senior in high school in 2001, it was one of the Nokias, I can’t remember the specific model. Texting wasn’t really a thing yet, you were charged quite a bit for each text and it was a total pain in the ass because there weren’t QWERTY keyboards yet. Now in 2023 I’m typing this on an iPhone 14 Pro. Just like watching video games evolve from when I was a kid starting out with the original Nintendo NES, seeing the evolution of cell phones has been a trip. Im 40 years old, so I’m right at that age where I remember life before the internet and had an analogue childhood, and all this technology grew up right alongside me. I remember my dad telling me as a kid that one day tv’s will be paper thin and you’ll be able to hang it on a wall like a picture frame. I didn’t believe him, and well here we are!

Nokia and BlackBerry were an emotion for 2000s kids😭❤

I was a little late to the party, my first smart phone was the Huawei P6, probably bought in 2014. I have since bought every Samsung Note and currently have the S23 Ultra. I could not have imagined the speed with which things have changed over the last 30 years or so.

You left out Motorola Z phones with Moto Mods. That is noteworthy.
