Damn what a nice sounding guitar 🎸, where can I buy it?
ОтветитьThis guy is my idol.
ОтветитьIf it's cat-approved then it's all right in my book.
ОтветитьCongrats on being a father!
Since I bought a 0 shape guitar a couple of years ago I barely touched my dreadgnought. I just love the way it feels and sounds. It's well balanced and has this clear sound that just fits perfect to the kind of music I like playing (mixture of fingerpicking and strumming).
Collings guitars really are a class of their own, and you can’t really believe it until you play one... and then more, and you realize the clinical consistency.
ОтветитьSuper cool guitar! This is a great video topic.
Congrats on your new baby!!
"Very cool, I think the baby marked it as his/her own, as soon as big enough!" 😎
ОтветитьI have never heard a Collings Guitar that I didn't love!
ОтветитьPerfect awesome man excellent composition song and guitar! Haha gorgeous
ОтветитьI love the sound. Especially the balance of highs and lows.
I tried this size in a shop too, but it just felt too small in my arms.
Love your videos and Acoustic adventure course. ❤
So what model it is?
Ответить"The thing is...*I* care!" sums up why the guitar DOES matter to the player. The guitar is the Muse.
ОтветитьOh, congratulations on your baby! I love watching your videos, and some of your sounds are so fresh and cleanly played.
ОтветитьMy advice is to get whatever Tommy Emmanuel plays. Otoh the Collings is fantastic.
ОтветитьNice sound....... the WOW factor at amazing price you will get also with HsienMo guitars, especially their F Shape, based on Lowden f50 model. please check them out, amazing guitars, I own one too.
Ответить"Just a guitar". No such thing! :D Huge congrats, Paul. Amazing. Whatever can inspire us is worth going for.
ОтветитьAnd then...the day he came home and found the cat using it for a scratching post
ОтветитьWhat is the Brand or Make of the guitar??
ОтветитьCongratulations on being a father. It's a wonderful wonderful thing
Ответитьbut what size strings and type strings do you use on this? I know that make a big difference.
Ответитьthe sound and the tone seems so soothing.
ОтветитьSo...Who makes the guitar.?
ОтветитьBeautiful guitar and a very helpful video for me. I’ll be having a guitar built from a cherry tree from my boyhood home (sort of a keepsake) and I’ve been mulling over size. I tend to have smaller hands and have come to appreciate smaller guitars. May I ask the scale length? I’ve found that 24 to 24.5 inches (61 to 63 cm) feels good to me. Do you have any opinion regarding shorter scale length?
ОтветитьNice $4k custom martin right there….i can tell by looking at it haha
ОтветитьCongrats on the baby to you and your wife and congrats on the guitar… its beautiful and sounds so balanced …. You made me now look at smaller body acoustics.
ОтветитьWhat is the brand of the guitar
ОтветитьThat is a very nice sound. Very pure.
ОтветитьI had a custom guitar made 4 years ago , The string spacing, body style , slot head and bridge all all identical
only difference I did was used all solid Koa wood , and a 12 fret with cutaway
I bet you'd enjoy it :)
Beautiful guitar you has made , Cheers !!
Congratulations on being a father..Around here the phrase “ It’s the Hardest Job You Will Ever Love! Is often spoken..Great times ahead…
Ответитьlove your new guitar! I can relate to many things you mention! The sound is just mesmerizing.
I still own my old Taylor 110 from 2005 and actually love the sound of it. I´m just thinking that if i´d get a new one it would definitely have a cutaway and it´d be a Grand Auditorium, as i dislike the Dreadnought size sometimes.
Congrats on the new addition.....and the baby too! Im sure you gush over the child just as much. And you should. Sound and looks beautiful. I know all to well about the idolization. Myself, am all about my 12 to the body parlor resonator (also from Texas). One which, probably only sounds good to me via all the personal modifications I've made.....you know, I'm gonna stop right there. For I could very well drone insessently. Just enjoy all your family members...... instrumental or otherwise!
ОтветитьHow much Paul?🫣
ОтветитьHello,Paul....That IS an amazing guitar!!! So sweet sounding, but can still GROWL a little bit......And, your playing is top-notch, as well......Thanks for sharing.......I also have a "little" guitar, it's like an old Harmony/Silvertone cheap acoustic, but really well constructed...Great, low action, ringing tone...I won't reveal the brand name, for fear of causing a huge price-increasing demand.....But I do love it ....Maybe someday I'll tell......
ОтветитьSuch a great channel. And I totally understand...I have a Kanilea K-1 Tenor Ukulele that I just look at for a minute before I play it!
ОтветитьWonderful presentation & congrats! Drooling, drooling, drooling....................
ОтветитьWow!
ОтветитьThat kid is gonna be be insane at guitar.
ОтветитьThanks for the video. This guitar is over 7000 euro! I do't get it. You have a martin om-42 if i am not mistaken. The OM is overall by far an excellent guitar. I recently watched a video from Paul Simon who is playing on a OM 42 for decades like many other famous artists. Very good guitar player, still playing and one of the best sing/song writers.
ОтветитьSo Beautiful, musically.
ОтветитьBeautiful sound 😊
ОтветитьAt $12,575 US it should be the best guitar you ever played!
ОтветитьDaaaaaym❤😮
ОтветитьTINNY AND AVERAGE
ОтветитьYou forgot to put the link to the video you referred to about body shape.; and congrats on fatherhood!
ОтветитьGreat sounding instrument and interesting concept! More people should let make individual guitars, there are so much possibilities to make a guitar more comfortable. Oh, you could have changed the string spacing of your old guitar. The bridge could have been replaced because it's glue is removable.
ОтветитьYou should try a Guild D-55 Now that's a good sounding guitar. I have one.
ОтветитьI want one too! I'll sell all I have and just stick to this... Did you have pickups installed? And in case, wich ones?
By the way, Veel felicitaties!
Keetar
ОтветитьFor what it cost it should be magic and shoot out rainbows and sunshine while its played.
ОтветитьI have a 1917 0014 Martin parlour guitar. I love the size and the sound. But the action is way high and playability is marginal. What you have presented looks so impressive. As to the bling, it's your style, don't worry what others think. Collings can make a simple guitar look amazing. In the end, it's how you feel about the sound and playability.
