I did want to add if you have a drawer full of Matte lipstick’s like I do, you can always just use a Gloss topper and still enjoy the shades.

Your eye makeup on the lower lids and lashes is much to strong and has te ageing effect. A nice blouse, though. And yourr lip shada is just right. Sure yo're right about the matt lipstick, too.

I managed to get rid of all lip lines with 100% pure Shea butter which I apply thickly as often as I can. It took me several months, but they never come back. Kind regards from Munich/Germany.❤

I am debating whether to get the Charlotte Tilbury cream because the spf is just not high enough. Or can you recommend a light spf to wear underneath before a moisturizer?

I never really learned to apply makeup properly and wear less and less as I get older, however I regularly have my brows and lashes tinted and it makes such a difference! Especially on busy / lazy mornings (which if I'm honest is most days ;) ), all I need is a little concealer, curl my lashes and brush my brows into place, maybe a slick of tinted balm or lipstick and I'm out the door. TBH, I am lucky to have very good skin even at 50 so I can get away with very little on my face.

First of all, I love your hair (especially the bangs) & I am so happy to see you recommend using eyeliner under the eyes. I have tried the other ways some have advocated for (like just eye shadow - doesn't work for me & its so messy!), but like you, my eyes just tend to pop better & stand out/look bigger with the lower lash line framed by eyeliner. And the blending really does soften it.

I go even further with smudging the eyeliner to the point that it's really a shadow. I have a real time wearing mascara. It just feels gritty and bothers my eyes. AT age 71 my lashes are very thin and light and I haven't figured out how to deal with that. Shadowing instead of lining my eyes does help. I won't wear a noticeable eyeshadow unless I'm going out for the evening. It just looks too harsh and "made up" to me for daytime.

I am concerned about the chemicals in all skin products. There is not alot of safety control in that industry- so buyer beware.

L'Oreal Voluminous Xtra Volume Collagen Washable. So funny, I was looking for a L'Oreal black mascara tube and could not find it at CVS. They had so many different mascaras. I use non-waterproof. So I bought one thst did not say Waterproof. Well, i Googled it and it is! I also was looking at my old one and couldn't find a name on it either. So I went surfing on Amazon. I got a big grin when I saw that it is your Go To! And I totally agree with all the good things you said about it!

CereVe spf. and foundation if needed. Yes, fill in the brow. Curl lashes and use Mascara. Ombre lipstick if needed or tinted chapstick. Done. 5 minutes, and 6 items.

The only thing I do differently now vs in my 20s, is the foundation.

Found this so informative. I am 53 going on 54 in a month and so much changing on my face. My hooded eyes 👀 changing. Do you have a video on that? I was told when I was 16 to take care of my skin with creams and always did and it has made a difference now that I am older.

You have some good tips! However, putting so much powder on a mature face just accentuates the lines and it's very drying to the skin. I prefer a glowing dewy look instead of a powdery finish.

In my younger days I wouldn't so much as go to the mailbox without my full-face on; now that I'm looking at 60 (yikes!) I prefer simple. I love your presentation and tips! I use a lot of Laura Geller and like her line. But what I would really like is for people like yourself to say if a product is Cruelty-Free or not. I will gladly show my age spots if it means no beagles, bunnies, or cats were harmed in the making of the products that I bring into my home. By purchasing products that are tested on animals (either by the manufacturer themselves or by their suppliers) you are agreeing to and supporting this horrid practice. Please Please Please support Cruelty-free products.

Love your video, but just a comment on the eyelash curler. I’ve been doing this for probably 50 of my 67 years. Use your hair dryer on medium setting to heat the curler. Let it cool while curling. The lashes stay curled much longer.

But, I've learned over the past 10 years I need to constantly tweek my application and products due to neverending skin changes. I'll continue to seek your assistance on 'how to', and appreciate the product suggestions.

If I put moistures I break out. And I'm NOT a teen. I'm over 40. She did a good show on clothing - but people need to wear clothes. Make-up is optional. Get out and exercise, eat healthy, stay hydrated, love yourself. What do men wear on their face? NOTHING.

And is it best to use all creams instead of powder blush?

I always just threw on makeup. Now at 60 I’m trying the contouring and lashes changed all my makeup. I’m working on learning how to do the new me. Now I’m using Miami md and it takes all the wrinkles away but, it’s not dewy or moisturizing to me and then my make up on my cheeks wrinkle I think it’s the Miami md . I’m going to try the moisturizer you recommended.
