We Tried A $9 VS $40 Microblading Eyebrow Pen

Maybelline rocks! I use it everyday and it is totally worth it.

Oh come on - you WERE blessed with great brows!~ But The first booboo (tho funny) happens when you hold the pen or brush too far from the tip. Key is to hold the it a lot closet to where the ink is, and rest part of your hand - usually a thumb knuckles - on your face to steady it. You'll have double the control.

I love the Maybelline tattoo Studio brow tint pen, but sadly they no longer sell it in Australia, Why I have no idea.

I have tatbrow and they suck

After watching the Brow Pen Showdown from 9/24/2020, I am convinced the single tiny thin brushes are much easier for novices. I bought the Sephora 3 prong one and still trying to get used to it and will probably just use it vertically one prong at a time...her top 3 pens were Bushy Brow from Lime Crime, Brow Blade from Urban Decay (only dark shades unfortunately) and Glossier Brow Pen, none of which is readily available in Australia except by online order so no opportunity to check colours. Good luck!

Thanks for the vid. First, I would take your natural brows over mine any day - lol! Beautiful eyes, btw. Anastasia kicks a$$ - I think I need to just go back to that. These feel like a magic marker on your face. I know that seems to be the style right now but I see a lot of brows out and about and girls/women are WAY over-doing the brows these days. I don't think people understand that actually makes people look older.

I tried the Maybelline one and the individual lines kept bleeding together. Wasn’t for me.

Girl I’m pretty sure when you put the before and after pictures you mixed them up.

Is it semi-permanent? Does it last for a few days or so since it's called "tattoo"? How do you remove it if you make a mistake? Cheers!

Maybelline crap tried it u have to press so the ink comes out so no microbladding effect but just like a big stain lookin crazy eww

I wish I would've seen your vid before I bought my Tatbrow :( Same thing.... not a good application. Not waterproof. Not smudge proof. Very disappointed.

Remember GRAVITY you guys lol. When a pen or marker (which this is just a glorified marker with 4 not so thin tips) is held upside down, the ink will not go to the tip lol.

I honestly prefer the more natural look Tatbrows. Natural is my virtue ❤️ but Im getting it for my mom so the darker on it is!

This video was painful to watch. The goofy editing and the spastic production style was just trying way too hard to be edgy and posh.... Get to the point and stop chattering about nonsense.... Nobody has time for the sound effects, seizure inducing clip flashes...unnecessary content. The editing room floor must have been super bare the day this disaster was created...

She needs her brows trimmed or p! Ucked clean edges... The arches are not even... The end of them are to thick all in all she is not good for these demos .. hard for anything to work on them until there are properly done .... MHO ... She's very pretty tho ❤️❤️❤️

The directions on the eyebrow pen I bought says you have to push it down first on a hard surface to get ink to come out.

Bought the tatbrow a while back...same thing...couldnt get product out. Was very disappointing. Trying a new brand now....

Girl thats me. Micro blading is something I heard about from my sister. But like you, I can't do tattos. So, I'm going to try it. With my age I'm loosing my eyebrow hairs now. I want to fill them in but using an eyebrow pencil it runs iff by the end of my day. I'll go get one once once this virus tragedy we're experiencing, I'll go buy 1. So you think the we need the Maybelline one. I don't want to feel I need to be a makeup artist, just able to do my brows and go. 9 Knicks is way better than playing $40 dollars for brows. Thank you. By the way, you're very funny. Thank you for trying this for me before I ever thought to pay $40 bucks for an eyebrow pencil.

It looks like you have some skin tags one of your eyelids. The dermatologist can remove these in a split second with a zapping tool at an extremely low price. It’s not just an appearance thing—they catch on things and are annoying to work around. 🌸 I’ve had them. Sometimes they fall off, or sometimes you have them for a few years.

I think Maybelline is the winner - agreed. I would try a diff technique on the tail - try to go less in a line so you open up the blade/tip more horizontally, to get the individual lines. Do you still use this?
