You have a comfortable place to live and a good attitude. I am too old and selfish to share a bathroom but you are making it work and have everything you need.

I think he's made the most of the place but personally I just can't imagine paying 1100 for one room not even a private bathroom just to live in NY that's just me though I lived in Toronto for almost two years when I was 20 and didn't like it even though I lived in a three story house big cities are nice to visit but not to live imo especially ones with sweltering summers and freezing winters like in New York State or Ontario.

I grew up in Co-op city in the Bronx and its sad to see what people have to live with nowadays but its still way better than the last video of 95sqft for $650 a month.

It is a room, that's just the reality, but it is a nice small space and you made it home. The landlord could never charge you for all the extras that come with owning a home, he or she would be out ot their mind. It would be overpriced completely as you don't own your own bathroom. no bathroom ?! its not a way i would choose to live..no problem with small but no bath room really is a problem !, sharing with family member is one thing strangers no way !

What you got is a bedroom, you are renting a bedroom, a large subdivided room into 100 sq ft each.

In Hong Kong, it is called cage homes and coffin homes, but yours is a whole lot bigger

It should be illegal to have an apt without a bathroom, that’s ridiculous. We have some small apartments as well but they all have bathrooms.
