Stainless steel cookware and glass tupperware.
ОтветитьWhat about TITANIUM COOKWEAR?
ОтветитьSo what fry pan to use?
Ответитьwhat of silicon utensils? blessings to all
Ответитьthere are Iron supplments, as women tend to lose a lot, monthly. I guess Dr Gundry forgets it. He more and more acts like a cult guru. Mixes truths with half truths with blatant lies like this, populist pseudo science all together. Sad.
ОтветитьYou won't suffer a thing from plastic containers UNLESS you use them in a microwave oven to heat your food.
ОтветитьBottled water is all in plastic. We have no choice. He bounced off that little problem pretty quick and never gave us an alternative.
Ответитьmake huner gatherer great again!
ОтветитьWhen will people start storing their food in mason jars Not only what you are caning yourself, but in the fridge stop using plastic? Jars work well leave you more space and keep food much longer. It saves space and you can see what is in the jars.
ОтветитьMost of our shoes have plastic in them so we better go barefoot like Adam and Eve.
ОтветитьThat’s the problem w our human society throughout history: convenience! Everybody wants convenience but lacked the education to do so. Take plastic soap and for example. Soap without a sewer system to recycle the water has contributed to water pollution. See the Santorum River! The use of plastic bags to carry human things and ignorant discard polluted our oceans and marine animals.
Ответитьis plastic bad even when it's not subjected to heat or light?
ОтветитьWhat about carbon steel pans?
ОтветитьDr. Gundry strongly suggest you take high dosage Celery juice good for the brain. Thanks alot
ОтветитьSo is a pan like the Blue Diamond, which has aluminum but is coated, and lists it's free of all those things mentioned, be ok? Really trying to find a higher quality pan though but seems they go from super cheap to super pricey, nothing decent in between.
ОтветитьFriends don't let friends drink whiskey out of plastic bottles. No whiskey unworthy of glass is worth drinking.
ОтветитьWhat's your opinion on using ziploc bags and on reusing them after washing? Also what do you think of storing food in empty yogurt containers and such?
ОтветитьThe problem. You can't avoid plastics, aluminums etc. Buy milk. It's in plastic. Cottage Cheese, yogurt, block cheese, plastic. Frozen veggies, Plastic bags. Olive oil, plastic bottles. Even if I choose glass containers inside my own home, manufacturers don't. I don't hear Gundry saying how he avoids that. What I really would like one of these YT "experts" to actually DO, is be REALISTIC. His story about strawberries being "perfect" after 2 weeks is total BS. I am happy if I can get a few days, and that happens only if I soak in vinegar as soon as I get them home. They want to spout off, "OH, don't use plastic" yet he's clearly not able to completely avoid 100% of plastics. Take us into your fridge, and pantry and show us what's really in there. Because I don't believe that he is able to avoid 100% of plastics. Be REAL. Can you buy milk in glass bottles again, yeah, and olive oil in plastic lined cans or glass bottles sure, but those are most expensive and not everywhere. I think that a lot of the advice out there is just fear mongering and completely impossible to follow.
ОтветитьIs it all plastic bottles of water? I get cases delivered every month. I thought they took out the bad chemicals from the plastic bottles? We drink a lot of water in plastic sport bottles from Zephyrhills. Does anyone deliver spring water in glass bottles anymore? Will the Berkey water filters remove the plastic chemicals from the water? Thank you for answering my questions in advance.
ОтветитьI have got the German FISSLER cookware made in Germany since the 1970s and I find Fissler cookware the very best. .All of Fissler cookware is made in Germany.. In Germany Germans do not cook with cast iron at all.....
ОтветитьVery helpful!!! Thanks Doc!!
ОтветитьWhy throw out…donate!
Ответитьand what about cooking in silver utensils?
ОтветитьHow about silicone utensils?
ОтветитьTry stacking a glass bowl of sliced cucumbers on a glass bowl of soup in your refrigerator without a lid, because glass bowls that have lids use plastic lol
ОтветитьI think your full of it, I mean I believe that allot of the stuff you talk about may be bad for you in some way or another, but I do not believe you practice what you preach, because glass storage containers have plastic lids if they even have them, if you go to a restaurant I don't believe your telling them " my food better not be cooked in aluminum, cast iron or teflon coated gear", or stored in non plastic containers without plastic lids, and I don't believe you tell the restaurant" I only want my food from clean organic products "
You can't buy bottled water in non plastic containers it's just nearly impossible to do this stuff, and I know you make money by telling people this, but it's shameful to mislead people
Whats the alternative cookware????
ОтветитьIs that a plastic straw in that cup? Gasp! How dare you.
ОтветитьCeramic pans are garbage there is no reason to use them over teflon lol
ОтветитьWhat about PFOA free non stick pans? Does it mean anything?
ОтветитьGood info Dr.
But I believe that silicone cooking utensils are safe. Silicone is very heat resistant and it’s only toxic when the solvent is in it that keeps it wet, but when it hardens and dried it’s all gone into the air band is safe. Fish tanks are sealed with pure silicone because it doesn’t kill them or give them disease. Silicone is natural to the body even.
I use only wood, silicone or stainless steel utensils.
Didn’t think of the iron content in the cast iron pans to be too bad but I probably should get rid of mine and get the enamel coated kind that I do love but it’s so expensive.
I have avoided the Teflon my entire life since it began I saw it couldn’t be good.
The best coated pans I’ve seen are the ones from Ninja and I believe it’s may be also not too toxic. I’d have to look into that one, but they are the only brand I’ve seen that impressed me with its surface hardness. Other than a brand I can’t remember the name of that had titanium finish but one piece would cost a couple hundred or more dollars but it was lifetime indestructible.
Saw it at a bender show in Costco a few years ago and wanted it but couldn’t afford it at all.
Aluminium will give you Alzheimer's!!!!!
Throw it away!!!!
Use as little plastics in the kitchen as possible.
Cast Iron or Stainless Steel Only!!!!
What about silicone utensils and bakeware?
Ответитьsince we have gone away from copper water lines and copper cook ware as well as silver ware our blood veins lacked strength and many suffered from anuresis's and aorta bursts .
ОтветитьI find that parchment paper burns very easily and seems flimsy.
ОтветитьI haven't owned a Teflon cooking pot, pan or skillet or anything else for 30+ years. I didn't know they were still around. Don't have any cast iron stuff either. I admit I have quite a few plastics in the kitchen. Don't think I'll be giving up my emergency bottled water anytime soon.
ОтветитьFor cookware, use Hex Clad. They’re expensive, but they’re fantastic. Also, silicone is a safe material.
ОтветитьI just threw away my cast iron skillet (which was known for producing the most beautiful crusts on my rib eyes), i just also threw away all my non stick pans (which was all of my cooming gear), I just threw away 4 cases of 48 pack kirkland signature water bottles i just bought from Costco (those were so heavy to carry up the stairs to my unit too!), i just also threw away all my plastic utensils. Oh, I had to throw away my sous vide machine too since, you know, can't use plastic vacuum sealed bags anymore. I am now happily microwaving what I was left with; a cup o noodle 🥤. Since all my utensils are in the trash, ill be using my two index fingers as chopsticks. Hopefully these fingers dont disrupt the biome of my noodles. Thanks for the help Doc!!!! Toodooloo 😘
ОтветитьWhy doesn't he just get down with the facts, in stead of GOING ON & ON...
ОтветитьFor anybody wondering, YES, his salad spinners are made out of an exotic steel blend of Adamantium and space grade 90004L Beskar steel which make his spinners leak and rust proof. These metals can only be excavated from deep within the Wakanda region. They are also adorned with sapphires and rubies to perfectly balance out the alkalinity level typically found on exotic Beskar alloys.
Ответитьabout strawberries from Costco - not the case in Santa Clara county, here they mold overnight right after purchase, as other berries and salads do. Nothing about weeks, next day literally, really annoying
ОтветитьNever mind the plastic. I put three cherry tomatoes, still attached to the vine, in a dark kitchen cupboard, in open air. Six months later they were slightly wrinkled. Greenhouse grown! But not eaten!
ОтветитьIs the salad spinner plastic?
ОтветитьApeel Sciences vegetable and fruit coating founded by Bill Gates. That should tell you all you need to know.
Ответитьnope nope nope no way in hell will I do away my cast iron skillets they don't stick and my dutch oven is a keeper as well. in the kitchen and on the camp fire they are fantastic.Have been eating out of the same pans for 69 years and they are not worn out yet. some of them are from my Great Grand Mother and they have not killed anyone yet. and I am not changing the plumbing that has been there for 104 years either.
ОтветитьI was wondering about the tomatoes that I bought from Walmart. I had them for months and they still look great! It scared me to eat them. I'm glad that I'm not just imagining things. or being paranoid unnecessarily.
ОтветитьWater is transported in plastic pipes. Ceramics have metals and other chemicals.
This is IMPOSSIBLE advice.
My mother has Alzheimer's and dementia. We children are aware that her generation has a high number of people with her mental state. Common denominators. All houses had lead pipes when she was young, petrol had lead which was emitted into the atmosphere, aluminium pans, and finally amalgam fillings, she still has her teeth at 91.
ОтветитьDoc, I watched this video earlier and then went to the grocery store to get a few things and everything is in plastic prepared salads bread drinks, including milk, sour cream, yogurt, etc. etc. etc. almost everything is plastic, so how do you avoid it?
