If options make the money that’s paid out to shareholders on distribution day. Why do we have a decrease the same as the payout in our etf price? My understanding of the price of the ETF is built on what the market producers. What the next person is willing to pay and what the seller is willing to sell at. Looks like the payout is skimmed off the ETF and not the winnings.

Always enjoy your content! I signed up to get the weekly distribution email from YM and I noticed that they recently added a ROC column now and have done so for the past two weeks. Of the $.5793 distribution for TSLY, 93.3% was ROC. Your guestimate was that they made .61/share, but they are giving us back .5387 of our own investment and the rest in money they made. Is this something to be concerned about?
