Still makes me cry
ОтветитьThe IJN would have been better off losing Nagumo, but instead Yamaguchi went down with his ship, depriving Yamamoto of one of his best subordinates.
ОтветитьGirls: I can't believe he didn't cry during titanic!
Boys:
And then rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
Ответитьthis shows the cruelty of war. young lives either gone or drastically changed. war is just a massive waste of life for leaders who care more about their pride and egos than the lives they're suppose to lead and protect
Ответитьalthough I hate what the japanese had done in WW2, I feel so horrible to the people who fought for them, especially the ones that were apart Kamikaze attack's
ОтветитьWhats the title of this movie?
ОтветитьSome japanese generals/admirals have a great sense of honor. I respect that they know and that they truly care about their men. (Excluding the war crimes)
ОтветитьI wonder how is it on IJN kaga
Despite the Japanese losing world war 2, I respect them in their bravery and determination to stop the allies from defeating them.
ОтветитьWhat's the full name of a movie?
ОтветитьAll the admirals, captains and officers going down with their ships just robbed the IJN of their experience and knowledge. Weren't they more useful to the empire alive rather than dead?
ОтветитьAs perhaps stupid as it sounds, I never understood how so many people still get trapped or failed to be rescued and succumb to drowning
ОтветитьThis captain had much experience and knowledge. To deprive his country of this was a crime. The country need the knowledge not a sacrificial gesture.
ОтветитьHonorabru dispray.
ОтветитьAs a ex naval personnel. Vessels like frigate, corvettes 1 hit by torpedoes means many will died and most dont even know it. no where to hide.
ОтветитьExcept for Kaga and Amagi which converted from battleship/cruiser, and named after prefectures or provinces, the built from start carriers like Hiryu and Soryu were were named after auspicious nature, like the crane, dragon and Phoenix.
ОтветитьToo bad current commanders don't take responsibility when they fail.
ОтветитьUn capitán nunca abandona su barco😢😢😢😢😢😭😭😓
ОтветитьI read later on, that the Captain of the Destroyer that sank the Hiryu, would actually go on to command the Shinano on it's ill fated voyage.
ОтветитьThese people really know how to put the "fan" into "fanatic".
ОтветитьTranslation, I am too much of a coward to face the consequences of my poor battle decision, therefore I will kill myself. Yeah, not very honorable.
ОтветитьIf I were there, I would ask for a watch, a ring, some medals and some of the Admiral's items as mementos.
ОтветитьI watched this movie on peacock and they didn’t have subtitles for the scenes In Japanese😂 all it said was “speaks Japanese” for like 5 minutes scenes
Ответитьahh yes IJN's starting to find out phase begins
Ответитьにほんじんは、サムライ精神
責任感凄いよ
The worst part is even when they hit the hiryu with 3 torpedoes, in real life it still took an hour before she sank. The crew did so good with damage control they they had sealed a lot of the water tight compartments, but the engines were out, the water maines were cut in midship so they couldn't fight the fires anymore. But she still held on to be sunk. The curse of the yukikaze raged the entire war and beyond.
ОтветитьI enjoy Japanese BBQ
ОтветитьFinal hours of Ijn Carrier Hiryu Destroyer torpedoes Hiryu from getting into enemy hands of the Carrier so it doesn't even useful anymore
Ответитьme after playing call of duty vanguard midway
ОтветитьSince the element of surprise had been consumed for Pearl Harbour, attack of 4 aircraft carriers ( Kito Budai) was a bad idea.! They should have seperated 2 or 3 Naval force groups. Plus, the front of Alaska (Aleution island) should have been widened so that us naval power also seperated with different fronts.
ОтветитьFuck em!.......remember Pearl Harbor ASSHOLES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ОтветитьAll that showed was the dumbass fanatical of that time
ОтветитьFrom a tactical standpoint there’s nothing gained by staying with the ship. Japan needed every sailor and officer they had. McArthur left the Philippines and it was definitely better for the war effort. I understand ( somewhat) the whole honor thing, but honorable dead men don’t win wars. Want to reclaim your honor? Keep fighting.
ОтветитьJust think, if they'd just behaved in 1941, none of that would have happened.
ОтветитьWhat happens
When they can read your communications…..
駆逐艦の魚雷、変なとこにあるな😅
ОтветитьCan someone tell me what movie and year of release for this?
ОтветитьThat ship could have limped back to Japan for repairs.
ОтветитьBetter get used to it Mr Young Officer this probably won't be the only ship you have blown out from under you considering your entire fleet is about two years from being 90% shit canned.
ОтветитьThis would be touching.
I say “would be” because while the Hiryu’s elevator for loading and unloading planes was damaged, her rudder, propellers, and basically her ability to get underway and make for a port we’re not. She absolutely could have been repaired and put to sea again, and did not need to be scuttled.
This is your brain on Bushido.
Death is as light as a feather, yet duty is heavier than iron.
ОтветитьFrom what I gather, in reality, they didn't exactly allow ANYONE to abandon ship, at least all the officers went down in a last Banzai cheer with the ship
ОтветитьCry babies
ОтветитьWe are fortunate that we live in a time where the Japanese are no longer our enemy. They were a ferocious and committed opponent.
ОтветитьThe younger officer must have been feeling so guilty about the defeat. He must be feeling, "if only i had pressed my case stronger during that wargame with Nagumo."
Ответить😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😢😢😢😢😢😢😢
