Windows 11 In the Studio - Does it work with: Pro Tools, Studio One, Plugins, DaVinci Resolve, OBS?

Windows 11 came out around the same time as COVID. Both equally welcome to us regular folk.

Thinking of switching from Mac to Windows. Which audio interfaces in your opinion (other than the RME - too expensive) work well with Windows. Any suggestions? Thanks.

wow...a music DAW on a Windows PC...never seen that...Pro world uses Apple and Apple Silicon because of higher performance, and widespread use ...but why not!

windows 11 really is just a ui upgrade. it's basically windows 10 with a refreshed layout. A few changes here and there but for the most part the same thing

Hi, so what version of protools do have on that system. my computer supports windows 11 but I use protools 2018. 12, not sure it's safe for me to install win 11.

How is pro tools working for you if on the avid website it says that Windows 11 is not yet compatible with pro tools. I wanna upgrade so bad but I don’t know if it will work for me idk why the website says that but you’re running it perfectly

im working with windows 11 and im very confused with davinic resolve its not recognizing my microphone even at 48000 hz so when i try to patch a track with a microphone to record it only shows my computer microphone and not my usb microphone but my computer seems to be working fine with the microphone does anyone know what’s happening with it?? do i need some kinda of audio recording software as well to make davinci work?

Since they announced that V13 plugins include W11 support. So I'm a bit confused.

So you're in dark mode but that bar on the top of the app is still white... they didn't fix that in win 10, nothing new on 11.

i also did install the win11 upgrade (i've upgraded my hardware so all is new) , all previous installed plugins etc. works just fine, no hickups at all, so i'm happy :) only issue i got is that memory leak with the explorer which is a known bug. no biggie for me, it will get fixed.

I have a UHD computer system for video editing. I find I can only use Protools at 1920 by 1080. Is this the same for you given you, as a I do, use Da Vinci Resolve for Television work.

You have not TPM 1.2 too? Will it works ok on I7 4790K?
