I love John KRUK he was one of the best hitters in baseball and for the Phillies. He is still in my ear and face doing the Phillies games. So I get to listen to him and he makes me laugh all the time. He is a great human being. Thanks John KRUK for loving Philly as much as we love you.

The way he tossed his helmet after the at bat was like "nope, not for me, no thanks "...

That was definitely no mistake by Johnson. Cruk had made comments before the game about being anxious to go up against somebody like the Big Unit. Johnson definitely heard those comments decided to have some fun.

When Randy Johnson went wild, that was scary AF. I wouldn’t want to be up there either. When I was in little league and club ball, we had a fast pitcher and we all feared him. He was pretty accurate, but, sometimes he went wild too and he got me right in the middle of the back.

I HAVE BEEN A PHILLIES FAN FOR 62 YEARS AND I AM VERY HAPPY THAT JOHN KRUCK IS A PHILLIES BROADCASTER!

This was Johnson at the exact time he was developing his control. He always struck out a lot of batters, but was still wild as he led MLB in hit batters during that season (‘93) as well as the previous season. But ‘93 was the first time in four years Johnson didn’t lead MLB in BB, as he only walked 99 batters that season.

Gotta love the Krucker... That game was awesome.
