When using the digital angle gauge ("inclinometer"), it is critical to rest it on the table and then rock it up onto the blade. The reason is any slight tilt of the device forward or back will result in an imperfect reading.
ОтветитьThis intro made my day. Fantastic.
Ответить5/11/23, no voice audio for some reason. There is music audio between tips. ??????
Ответитьyour mouth is moving but no words are coming out. Checked my sound that's ok so must be you.
ОтветитьHey do you have to draw an x on the board when checking fence for square
ОтветитьI feel like a riving knife, that should be installed anyway, solves the problem of wood binding behind the blade. Almost like it was designed for that exact purpose.
ОтветитьUmmm the audio is only in the left channel?
ОтветитьSo informative, wished I’d known this before. I’m selling my Bosch table saw as I’m going to England. But hope I can buy another one when I’m settled. Thank you!
Ответить#3, no rifing knife?
ОтветитьWow! Who'da thought of turning the blade backwards?
ОтветитьYou, kind sir… really know your trade. 👍🏼
ОтветитьHELP. Nick’s voice went missing from the video!
ОтветитьThank you.
ОтветитьVery informative! Thanks
ОтветитьHi, beginner here. Should i remove my riving thingy for tip 3?
ОтветитьEinstein had proven a perfect 90* angle is theoretically impossible…
🤦♀️
You should use a riving knife on that table saw.
ОтветитьWhy is the inclomometer facing away from you?
ОтветитьWell I’m step number one why don’t you put a mark on the opposite side of the board and line it up with the slot that you have in your T Square
ОтветитьThese are mostly cuts I make with a mitre saw.
ОтветитьBrilliant...the wedge thing cures a common problem....anyone know how to fix a Makita fence that doesnt seat in a straight line?
ОтветитьThanks! Great tips
ОтветитьI needed to cut plastic once, I found my ceramic tile blade, dry, did best out of what tools I had available.
ОтветитьGreat tips!!
ОтветитьGreat tips that require minimum processing
ОтветитьFor the tip #3, won't it burn the wood if we stop feeding it?
ОтветитьAbout that 1/10th degree error on the bevel cut: If you are making an octagonal frame, you make 16 cuts , not 8.
SO the error is 8 x .1 =1.6 degrees.
I really appreciate you videos!!
ОтветитьNO SOUND BUDDY.....
ОтветитьFascinating stuff. Thank you for sharing with us.
ОтветитьThat square to the blade to line up your cut line is so simple it’s genius. I’m just bitter this whole time I never thought of it. At least now I have a excuse to go buy a small square.
ОтветитьNice tips!
ОтветитьGreat video! Thank you
ОтветитьI must say that you gave a lot of tips in the years that I follw you. Please keep on doing. Even someone as me cannlearn from it. Making stuff dead accurate with my saw and most of it with red cedar. A 0.5 mm is my maximum deviation ;-)
ОтветитьI just discovered your channel. You sir, have earned a subscriber.
ОтветитьYou are do good.
Ответитьexcellent tips and you explained it very well. Thank you sir. !!!
ОтветитьTip number 2 assumes that the long edges of the wood are parallel to each other
ОтветитьI thought tip 4 was going to be, use the push stick to turn off the saw.
ОтветитьAnother well done video! I was thinking that on your first part on cutting a board to a specific length why not use the kerf on your miter guage board to measure?
ОтветитьGreat teacher. Thanks for sharing.
ОтветитьGenius stuff, thank you
ОтветитьOne thing I noticed your using the saw clearence plate to take measurements for blade angle. shouldn't you use the table top?
ОтветитьGreat tips.
My favorite is setting the miter gauge. I did not see that one coming!
Some great tips. Thank you
ОтветитьHvor er spalt kniven???😡
