Wow, can't believe you didn't include the Vision fg with the superlock. You gave it a great review except for the pocket clip.
ОтветитьWhere in the world is the Odium?
Ответитьcommunist Chinese knives, buy American!
ОтветитьI love my tanto brazen, just about every blade in this video has a curved edge. I love the straight edges of the tanto
ОтветитьI wholeheartedly recommend the Civivi Bhaltair. Awesome blade for those of us who prefer a merger folder.
ОтветитьDoes the Civivi Cachet drop shut over time?
ОтветитьI love the Damascus praxis, been carrying it everyday for three years. Have a baklash for work. Civivi is an excellent brand. Great quality. Great prices
ОтветитьI was thinking about getting that Damascus odd 22, but it didn’t make the list. Do you think I should get it or another wood/Damascus civivi knife. I just love the way it looks, but I want it to perform too.
ОтветитьI have to say, I know very little about quality knives. I went to Scheels today looking to replace a cheap piece of crap I have, and got talked into a Bench Made because "they are the best in the world." Got back to work and decided to research them a bit, and holy cow, found out quickly how incredibly over priced they are for what you get. Did a little searching and kept seeing a variation of the same comment "Civivi knives are just as good at a third the price." Found your channel and I am so glad I did! The bench made is going back right now and I'm getting TWO Civivi knives to replace it and Still saving $80! Thanks for the great reviews!
ОтветитьMaybe do a "real-damascus" top 10
ОтветитьI think one really nice one that could have made the list would be the Pintail. Great steel, nice look and it feels nice to handle. I really like the Synisis too but it's a little big for some EDC situations (i would get some funny looks having a knife that big in the office compared to the Pintail).
ОтветитьThat Qubit would be a no-brainer for me if it didn’t look horrible while closed due to that “bottle opener”
ОтветитьAction aside the Altus is such a beautiful knife. Love the way it looks
ОтветитьSo where does Kershaw land for you as a budget folder?
ОтветитьI really like the Civivi Shredder as well .
ОтветитьTo many button locks. I honestly think the Voltaic is far better than the elementum button lock.
ОтветитьYessir
ОтветитьI like the Riffle. It’s a great knife.
ОтветитьAnother great video! Thanks. I love Civivi. Best knives for the money imo. And i don't have much money so i need quality, and Civivi delivers!
ОтветитьThey should make an AltusXL I love the look but it’s kinda small
ОтветитьI'll vote for the Sokoke (and the Appalachian Drifter 2, but it's discontinued and i hope they will do a newer version).
I love the Pintail S35VN too, but it's probably too small for many people.
Great video! Thanks for showing the ‘lot’ of Civivi’s!! 😊
ОтветитьThe Baby Banter never ceases to amaze me every time I pick mine up. It’s absolutely the best 5th pocket design out there imo. I’d love to get the one with s35vn but it’d be cool to see even more high end steel options too.
ОтветитьCON-SPI-RA-TOR is a winner for me! this is much improved praxis design with button lock, good(er) steel, multiple deployment options and confortable flipper - everything Praxis's lacking. There's also a cool factor.
ОтветитьThe Teraxe is wayyy underrated. Amazing action and one of the best detents I've ever seen
ОтветитьTotally agree that Civivi and Kizer make really good entry level/mid level knife options. I think the mini Praxis and Baby Banter make excellent entry level EDC choices.
Thanks for sharing this run down.
Sokoke for the win 👍
ОтветитьI feel like its CUE-bit
ОтветитьGenial video!!
ОтветитьI’m a big mini praxis fan. When I carry a Civivi it’s always the one I reach for. Such a nice comfortable and useful little knife
ОтветитьThe conspirator is amazing. I have the damascus version as well as nitro v. What a knife
ОтветитьJust a pity the new Civivi Vision isn’t available yet.
At least in Europe.
It wil be my fastest buy ever I guess.
Nice line up so far! 👍🏻
I have that same Praxis and a Voltaic within reach right now. I really like the Praxis, but something about the silver and black Voltaic just speaks to me. I also have a couple Elementums. The wife has a Brazen that she loves, but she tends to carry her Chronic a little more. I really like the Backlash as well. Gave my brothers Badlands Vagabonds as birthday presents, specifically the S35VN version from Knife Center and they say they're great. I try not to fanboy any particular brand, but you honestly can't go wrong with a Civivi. Seems like they have something for everyone. Only complaint I've ever heard from anyone about Civivi us when people are mad that they're not American.
ОтветитьI don't own any Civivis but the Cogent is on my short list. I like the wood handle one.
ОтветитьPro tip: If you're planning to get the conspirator, i suggest picking up the titanium pocket clip replacement. Because the factory pocket clip is kinda flimsy.
ОтветитьQubit and baby Banter. The Hooligan is a great one and is on washers.
ОтветитьThe new Qubit is a game changer. Its so thin, amazing action, and great shape with full flat grind akin to Spyderco. Once you have and use it — it’s hard not to love. That said I agree the Baby Banter is a king of the 5th pocket carry and slightly outshines my next go to options of the Spyderco dragonfly in k390 and the Kizer mini sheepdog stonewashed thumbhole only micarta in 154cm. Though my new Vosteed mini-Nightshade may be usurping the Baby Banter
ОтветитьQubit and baby Banter. The Hooligan is a great one and is on washers.
ОтветитьGood choices generally. Thx
ОтветитьMy favorite Civivi is the Sencut Watauga. 😜
ОтветитьBrazen is in my top five civivi.
ОтветитьI wouldn't mind getting a WE Praxis with the 20cv and titanium scales.
ОтветитьGreat list stassa
ОтветитьI have a good number of the knives on your list, but I wanted to point out a couple that are my favorite. First I love the baby banter, and I love it even more since I got my Unlocked Composites scales (with toothpick & tweezers). The scales look amazing and feel incredible and they are made here in the USA. I agree with you about the top knife, the Sokoke.... That one blows me away every time I carry it. The action and looks are soooo good. Thank you for this list and for all your other great content!!
ОтветитьGreat list
ОтветитьYep! That is a great top 10. I'm embarrassed to say I lost not one but two elementums in the past year and a half. I'm moving on to try my luck with a Sokoke!
ОтветитьI’ve become quite the blade snob but I’m prone to chipping 20CV. I’ve also become biased to the axis lock. Instead of dropping $1k on more ammo I just might have to get a handful of these knives and break the habit
ОтветитьThe pintail is good.but a few years old
Ответить
