Just some advice to everyone: wear gloves when digging in thrift stores or wash your hands so well after. I heard stories of people getting hand foot and mouth disease from thrift stores.

The pillows for $1.99 would have been worth the insert it's self. You could have sewn the napkins that you loved so much to make a pillow with the orange pillows you didn't buy.

You can use the seal/plugs from another salt and pepper. Those ones you found were great.

I have that white sugar bowl! Got the set of dishes for my wedding in 1996 and they are all still in great shape! The pattern is Italian Countryside by Mikasa. Love how you styled all your thrifted finds 😊
