I have a long question i need help with. My company has been using QBDT for 30 years. After talking with a QB rep we decided to try going to the QBO. We were told by QB rep that they would convert all of our QBDT data into the online version. However, they never properly got the information over. There was lots of info that was duplicated 3-5 times and some info was never sent over at all. After 4 months of going round and round with QB we decided to go back to the QBDT version. Now we are faced with about 4 months of good info in the online version We would like to get back to the QBDT version that we had during that time but were not using. At the present the QBO is a larger file than our 30 year old QBDT version because of all the info they duplicated 3-5 times. I would like to know how to get just our 4 months of good info from the online version back to my QBDT. We are currently using QB Enterprise Contractor 23.0.

Hi James! I was told that QuickBooks inventory management is basic and that it is necessary to consider another application for more efficient inventory management, particularly if the company has a transactional site. Is this true and if so, what application would you recommend? Thanks!

Does your account count as a user? More specifically, are you unable to use starter if you have an accountant helping you as the starter only allows for one user?

My Side bar does not have sales or expenses where would I find it

I have a crazy question for you. I started to work for a sawmill. The person who set up quickbooks left the company and the owner has been doing most of the work but doesn't know where the other person put anything. So, he made a program in Excel to enter the logs coming in example size, length etc. on the bottom of the page is the total and the amount we are writing a check for. So the question is where does this information go?. The owner does not keep an inventory. Said that it would be to hard to do that. I am thinking being there is no inventory they are just keeping track of expenses and what is being paid to the drivers. Also we do large orders for builders. They put their orders in but pick up when they are needed. How do we keep track of what they picked up if they are not getting the full invoice?

Hello on my invoice the billing address and the shipping address have the same recipient name I need the parent company name to be on the billing address and the sub company name on the shipping address Ive tried to edit a few different ways but it didnt work for me. hope you can help
