In December 1941 Japanese Admiral Yamamoto predicted that if Japan went to war with the US, that they would only last six months. His prediction was incredibly accurate, with the Battle of Midway turning the tide in the Pacific. So what did he know that Japan did not...the power of US industry.

Keep in mind modern politics.
And how other countries industries like China just tried to make a car factory in Mexico.
Its a strategic move.
Trump is the only vote this year.

Because at any time a car factory can become a war machine.
Under Biden/Harris admin.
All of our strength has left the country. We have no backbone if we go to war.
Our military is in shambles.

Those are facts.
Question is who are you gonna vote for?
Trump is the ONLY one who will fix these problems.
Because it is the right thing to do to keep global stability which the UN is incapable to ever do apparently. (Hence Ukraine & the War against Palestine.)
The left are communist-markists.
Nuff said.

(Left is more closely akin to communism more than ever.)

I no the Sherman tank is a great American creation but not for battle unlike the Russians new that they had to make a tank just as the Nazis if not at least syronger and they did and won all tamk battles there on i just think the american sherman if made stronger to late could of saved so many i can't even imagine it was suicide those who miracly survived in a Sherman was just an act of god literally literally period

We here as Americans are the hope and destiny of the free world. If America does not lead the way, the world will walk in darkness, shame and disgrace will be ours, for in the light of high resolve, the golden hopes of mankind will trail in the dust of time. ( Teddy Roosevelt )

We are all so proud that the United States came back from Pearl Harbor. We were a very small ranked 17th in the world . I know the draft had a nice part of it as well. However, when Dolittle went into Japan with his unit, I cried this history is amazing.

This characterization of Rochefort must end. He wasn't strange nor eccentric. He wore a robe at work because the codebreaker's offices were underground and it was super-secret. It was cold in that room and despite it being in the tropics everyone at that facility were dressing warmly.

It was fitting for USA to take first chair position in the Allied partnership because of the vast resources the USA would bring to the fight. As a whole, the British officers Corps, were in need of tactical adjustments in their war fighting doctrine but I never heard that we Americans thought them incompetent.

The ONLY reason the US is in the condition it's in now is due to the fact we did NOT border any war front. We were not shelled, assaulted by any Airforce or tank assault or troop advancement. Our factories stayed open in spite of millions of people being reduced to dog food. We rose to the top of the heap by means of the Military Industrial Complex! It is sad for me to say, those same entities rule our country today.

In fact, the U.S. conducted war games in 1932 that involved a surprise attack on a Sunday morning. It was well publicized. The attackers won the war game. In 1936, the Japanese War College conducted a study involving a surprise attack at Pearl Harbor.

Even if Japan had more naval success, they then had to get within range of the US mainland, with its rapid air production, and destroy ports, including those on the East coast, to prevent new ships from being produced at a pace they couldn't match. I really don't know how they planned on ultimately winning against US industry, manpower, resources, and size. I assume the idea was that if they inflicted enough damage the US wouldn't want to fight anymore.
