Bought a 2023 Pilot EX-L July 29th, and after three weeks and putting 850 miles on the car, its ECM completely went out while driving local at ~45 mph, causing the car to come to a crawl and all electrical systems to fail. Currently having its ECM/PCM module replaced in the shop.

I’ve been test driving the pilot, grand highlander and both are great—just in different ways. One thing that bugs me in touring and elite pilots are cheap feeling leather wrap around the steering wheel. My moms 23 crv has a leather steering wheel that feels super high quality and this more expensive Honda has a really loose and low quality leather wrapped around its wheel. Noticed this on 2 pilots. Is this a quality issue on the pilot for some trims?

From what I understand, the trunk panel isn’t hinged because it’s reversible between carpet and an all-weather/more durable material.

So my questions for someone who has a new Pilot. Is the 10 speed much better than the 9 speed and is this new generation much quieter than the outgoing one??

I relate to the lower back issues as well! I heard Ted mention anti-inflammatory medication. What is funny is I was loading my back pack earlier and I was conscious of packing my ibuprofen and muscle relaxers and pain medication before anything else lol. Ugh. I’m not even old I’m 22.

I will never forget when my mom and dad got a Honda Pilot. I think it was one of our best cars. They had a Ford Explorer, Fusion, Juke, an audi. Something about the Honda is just so nice. Love the pilot when I use to take it back in Highschool. It was just so cool! Would deff get it again.

BLACK INTERIOR ONLY I hate it now also hopefully Honda fixed Fuel Injectors on 2023 because 2016 to 2022 Fuel Injectors have a issue. My strongest advice to all Honda Owners use 93 Grade Gas only .

loved honda but this generation is dissapointing. Very boring design (except Civic), nothing new and the price is too raised.The same dashbord for Civic, Accord ,HRV and CRV shame on Honda.

they gave the CRV and Accord proper shifters again but no such luck for the Pilot, pity
