A Day in the Life of a Homeschool CEO: Heartfelt & Busy | Chicago
Today began with a solemn task—delivering a flower spray for a funeral on Chicago's west side. Tragically, a 12-year-old girl from one of our partner schools was shot and killed, a harsh reminder of the challenges our community faces.
Back home, it was school time for the kids. I covered Joel’s cursive lessons and reading, while the twins dove into American history, learning about the Constitution, and completing their spelling assignments.
In the afternoon, they played basketball. Josiah had a great time shooting hoops on the lowered hoop, thanks to his grandpa’s help.
