So good to see a young man like you, being so enthusiastic about a good old (ex-BR) Class 37 & some rather sad 315 units, now off to the breakers yard! I'm 69 years old & have loved trains all of my life. Keep up the great work that you are doing here on You Tube. What you do so well, is called 'out-reach to a new audience'. Your job is a about projecting your enjoyment & enthusiasm & attract potential rail-fans into becoming hooked on our shared, locomotion bug!

I drove many class 37s when I was a fireman out of eastfield traction depot Glasgow from Glasgow queen st to Oban on the west highland line plus class 20 s 27s push &pulls 37 definitely my favourite locomotive that was a long time ago 1974 onwards

In Victoria Australia we have a train similar to the 315 called the edi comeng and the last is going to be scrapped within the month so hopefully i can see that like Francis saw the 315s last journey

Loved this made it feel like the closing scenes in planes trains and automobiles near the end on newport station ,btw I’ve been inside newport docks to sims metals where they take them sad sight .

I remember when the 313 got scrapped
