ОтветитьIn 1939, after Germany's aggression against Poland, the Kingdom of Tonga was one of the first countries to declare war on Germany. Then, as part of a public fundraising campaign, the Tongan public donated two Spitfire fighters. The Kingdom was then headed by Queen Sālote Tupou III.

ОтветитьNoah looking like gigachad
ОтветитьMy new next door neighbours are from Tonga. I'll be honest, I was surprised they were from so far away. In fact if you stuck a giant pin through the planet in the UK it would probably emerge in Tonga. Turns out they had to leave because of the volcano. They are the friendliest family I've ever met and am glad to have them as neighbours.
ОтветитьWhat’s up with Cook Islands
ОтветитьTongans and Samoans are so intertwined throughout our histories. We mixed so much that all Tongans and Samoans living today have ancestors from the other nation. Go back even further, we all have the same Lapita seafaring ancestors.
ОтветитьNot the palagi’s trying to speak tongan
ОтветитьTongas empire barely made it past niue😂😂 it only ruled parts of Fiji samoa uvea Niue..never Tahiti, cookislands, hawaii, Havaiki amd rapanui. This empire was all hype. Cut the bs.

ОтветитьArt and Paul are both super handsome, but no one beats Keith when it comes to pure hotness.
ОтветитьIt's funny to think in Europe we get told diversity is good. Currently in Tonga they have homogenous ethnicity, god fearing culture and believe in keeping there heritage alive. I don't want to live in this modern society anymore, I want tonga time!
Ответитьi just notiect NOAH IS BUFFF
ОтветитьTonga 🇹🇴
ОтветитьThey did come to Hawaii but only really performed trade during the Tu’i era, distance was too far and Hawai’i had a large amount of resources. Their languages are actually the farthest apart as far as Polynesian languages go.
ОтветитьThank you for the pronunciation at the beginning!
ОтветитьTongans are in plague proportions in Australia. Toe-Guns is what they are called. The hardkore mormon side of things really turns us off here.
ОтветитьSomeone who is Tongan this was quickly funny
ОтветитьIt’s actually not bad how you pronounce Tonga, but you pronounce the T as a D. Just a quick fun fact! Proud to be tongan💯🇹🇴
ОтветитьThat's interesting with tattooing. It was old and then went away and then came back again. The youth bringing back a tradition of their great great grandparents their parents may disapprove of
ОтветитьKapisi pulu seems almost like cabbage roles, which is interesting because those are Eastern European which I usually think of as about as wildly different from Pacific Islander as you could get.
ОтветитьI bet the real story is something along the lines of Cook thought he could take advantage of their friendliness and then they were like "We're friendly, but we ain't pushovers. You mess with us, we'll mess you up"
ОтветитьReally does seem like God's country. Dangerous animals, dangerous water with the riptides and sharp reefs, political strife and kind of struggling economically, royalty and respect for elders, conservative dress with not much skin showing. Gives off kind of sinister serious vibes different than a lot of sunny tropical islands. Not saying it's a bad place. And also it's a place where one can earn high position and respect regardless of gender or what Westerners might consider race by looking at the pictures of the kings and queens. But more like a place not to be treaded on lightly. A holy place you can't just walts into willy nilly.
