I wish you'd explained the advantage or key features these offer compared to other note-taking apps - I don't really understand why someone would feel like switching to them or what makes them different to a standard notes app. They look really similar in functionality.

this man talks about so many damn note apps, the brother has me using 30 different ones on a daily basis... 😂Answer everyones lingering question, out of all these you can only walk away with one note taking app/productivity assistant... which one is it gonna be and why!?!?

This guy uses so many multiple apps for notes.
Its always adviced to keep notes in one single app instead of keeping notes in bits and pieces in multiple apps.

You don't need any of these. I started to use Excel for this and link some of it to Obsidian notes. Best workflow ever and absolutely zero lag even even in insanely huge canvases, something all of these paid ones suffer from. Numbers is better than Excel of this and the workflow is extremely smooth.

Thank you for sharing, great video. Just a question in regards of leaving out milanote, do you not consider it to be a note-taking app or what was the process of that decision?

I switched to Obsidian for everything in 2020 in the midst of the Roam hype, haven't kept updated with current tools, really like the visual stuff, and appreciate getting a nice overview here.
