What is the point?
Imagine how small is an ant compared to the universe?? Well it would hardly matter how much bigger we are, or the Earth is, or the Sun is, than an ant... the universe seems just as big to everybody!!

Interstellar travel is too difficult... life is too short and things are too far... can't find no aliens out there... the mystery of the universe will last forever!
If we keep progressing at the same rate or accelerate over the next million years... where would we be??? What would we know..? And what if the universe is still mysterious?!

It is more than just interesting that while the concept of infinity is a logical deduction we can concieve, yet cannot comprehend it.

Yeah , it keeps going .It is like looking for the smallest particle and shouting ureka but it keeps going . As humans , we make up all sorts of things when we run into something that is not understandable, by us. I mean yes it is good to try and grasp the totality of it but no matter how hard one tries ...you cannot. You might try to think of it as " ALWAYS " . :O)
