How to Turn a Mob Spawner Into an XP Farm in Minecraft

Zombie meat is useless.
Bones we get from nether or desert fossils.
Arrows are much more efficiently farmed through buying from villager.

We get more xp breeding animals than killing mobs.

There is no usefulness in mob spawn farming.

Maybe spider webs, yeah.

I once found a mob spawner on the side of a hill

I got lucky I found 12 diamonds in one vein just mining out the area

I used this tutorial for a triple spawner I found right nest to my base.

Are there unique rules if you make this in a realm? I found a spawner just a little bit aways from our home (it's just me & one other person in the realm) and built this (a skeleton spawner) to your exact specifications but it seems like the spawn rate is MUCH lower if i stand right near the campfire vs if i stand up at eye-level of the spawner itself (built one wall from tinted glass so i could see in and make sure everything's working without allowing light through the glass into the spawning room). If i stand right there at eye-level it spawns so fast, but not much at all if i'm in the killing chamber. Any tips on why this is or if this is just the nature of it?

I had a hard time finding diamonds in my word for days now. Went to make my farm like in the vid and found 5 diamonds. Thanks! 🤣

Can I do it with spiders but widen the gap by 1 block, and make a trap with four campfires or will it not work?

Thanks to this tutorial I have at last built a working double skelly XP farm. I just have to find a decent afk spot to make them both activate but otherwise it was working good. Thanks a lot!

In 1.20 seed finders like chunkbase can find spawners. But they are not always accurate.

The rates are little bad for Late game Because a full 10h night of AFK Will bring you full Shocker box Bone blocks bedrock 2 full double chests par 10h AFK Arrows And bones I always leave Arrows to despawn Because I have infinity bow On bedrock you can bone meal Sugar cane Using a tiny farm will get you Infinite emeralds Crafting Sugar cane in into paper Trade with liberian villagers or Cartographer Villagers 24 paper Infinite emeralds

Hey what to do if the spawner is on y100+

If you have a skeleton spawner, you can make it 100% afk by having tamed wolves in your killing chamber. They'll automatically attack the skeletons, and you still get XP!

pro tip if you afk with a auto clicker with your sword you can get xp from this farm too :D

is no one gonna talk about how the diamond boots just appeared

how come i get no xp when the campfire kills the zombie

I would say if your trying to turned zombies into drowned why not place a spider web then a block of water on to before hitting the campfire

Ive followed this style of farm. If i have multiple spawners in close proximity, within 3 blocks of each other... should i make the room bigger, and just treat it as one?

It is better to combine spawners with mob elevator and throw them from 21 block.

So you can wait for mobs to spawn in a large count and then one-hit them all with swing attack.

Using this on 1.20 , how does the stuff go from hopper into chest? As it just sits in hopper

just made this but sadly i have to actuall hit the zombies to get xp
if i just let them burn i dont get the xp

Also to get xp just punch them and you'll get xp.

I had to do mine a bit different, only two blocks down, the skeletons can see me, but it's because the spawnear is so low, that when I want to make the chamber I hit bedrock 🤣

If I did this with a creeper spawner, would the creapers explode when I hit them or would they not be able to see me?
