Macie Taylor, sophomore class of 2022 season, hustle highlights.

Troy, Ohio sophomore, class of 2022. As a sophomore, Macie has 715 career points and is 414 points away from breaking Troy High School's (a D-1 school) all time scoring record that has stood for 27 years! Macie is also on pace to be Troy's only 2nd girls basketball player in school history to reach 1,000 points and is on track to do that as a junior! After 2 varsity seasons in addition to her scoring, Macie has 150 assists, 67 regular season 3 point baskets, 212 rebounds, and 122 steals. Macie has strengths in many areas of the game and was recognized as "Conference Player of the Year" as a freshman! Macie has developed many respectable threats as an individual player, but also has uncommon vision to create opportunities for her teammates to be successful & help them contribute to a team win. Despite her early success, Macie strains herself daily to find a way to improve. Macie is a multi-sport athlete that attends and leads all school practices and workouts while also attending additional training to improve herself as an athlete. Macie is carrying a 3.8 gpa through the end of her sophomore school year.
