I saw this when it came out and I was 13 or 14 and I thought it was kind of fun and charming. It came up as a suggested film on one of my streaming services couple weeks ago so I tried watching it. I was way too annoyed by the scientific and historical and accuracies and cliche portrayal of the scientific minds to enjoy it.

It reminds me a little of "A Song is Born" with Danny Kaye and Virginia Mayo

A true popcorn classic!

Charming and somewhat overlooked film. Just the scenery is worth the time. The semi-screwball plot, with Walter Matthau's 'Albert Einstein' acting the part of matchmaker to his niece and an auto mechanic is lyrical and enjoyable especially as the other professors (Albert Einstein's sidekick buddies) get involved. I do recall the buzz when I.Q. was filming in the area in the Spring of '94; now almost 24 years ago. Great film!
