I really hope MCU's Spiderman writers watch this essays. So, they can fix and learn to write best spider-man movie.

Every plot line is directly relevant with peters arc of establishing his confidence, whether that be pursuing mj, trusting his senses, trusting he’s meant to have the glasses, and just trusting he’s a hero. This film perfectly explores that arc which is completely natural for him and his journey. So to say he doesn’t learn anything, or mj has nothing to do with the general plot or arc is crazy

looking back I think this may be my least favorite spiderman movie. It just feels so forgettable.

Not gonna sugarcoat it, mcu spiderman, despite having a good cast & huge budget, is the worst version of spiderman.

I think the spider sense was poorly setup. In Civil War they mentioned that his senses overwhelm him but we never see it. They easily could have set it up by showing us how it makes him overreact to every stimuli around him and he has to fine tune it as the movie progresses until he finally masters it.

Here it is just mentioned and then only comes up when they need him to beat Mysterio. No build up at all it just appears so we don't know why he didn't ever listen to it before or why it only appeared at the end.

Come to think of it FFH is "Far From Spider-Man".
While it's not the case anymore, now that NWH has fundamentally shifted the status quo, this is definitely the weakest cinematic installment. Not a bad film, but certainly not a great Spider-Man film.

every time I watch these videos I think "well I mean it wasn't that bad right?" and then I hear his idea of remaking it and I'm just like "holy shit where has this been all my life"

As Someone who loves Homecoming i'm 100℅ percent agreed with you

Something that always feels off is when Spider-Man isn't in New York. It's uncomfortable. Having all these new locations all over Europe while interesting just doesn't hit close to home when you feel like a tourist and not a citizen.

Spider-Man far from home is the second worst Spider-Man movie next to homecoming. Spider-Man 2 and spider verse are the best Spider-Man films.

I think you need to be less apologetic, it's not your job to teach people how to have opinions without being assholes and it ate up the run time.

Really the only thing I liked about far from home was the suits and the final fight and maybe the end credits

Edith storyline could have been better plotline for Iron-Lad than Spider-Man.

In the original scene of civil war, no one laughed after Tony said BARF but on some other joke.
Beck remembered the BARF being laughed at.
Thus, Stark would have fired him because he was actually mentally unstable.
This is further confirmed by him threatening his employees, willing to kill and how he takes advantage of Peter's insecurity.(and also fools trick fury).
Although your plotline of far from home is definitely better.
(i guess MCU didn't want another drama after endgame maybe that's why ant man and the wasp was also light hearted after infinity war).
