General Grievous vs Jedi (Full scene)

Also love how grievous fights. He uses psychology so it appears he's the hunter and they are prey but most of all he is a very much a brute. He collects jedi lightsabers and never backs down from a fight. He didn't want prisoners or info he wanted blood. Very prideful and doesn't let his soldiers waste good blood. All of this would imply he runs in blazing unwittingly and overpowers them all but no... He's so elegant and graceful when he fights it's almost like no effort. He doesn't "struggle" he just does. Ironically... Like a droid.

We had this; a lethal Jedi hunter, tactical genius and Dooku's right hand as commander in chief of the CIS armies...

Then Filoni's Clone Wars reduced him to a moustache-twirling parody of a villain who got outsmarted by Gungans, killed a single Padawan (!) in the entirety of the series and could be held off by Ahsoka.

The fact that it took an ambush from an ENTIRE platoon, INCLUDING their aircraft, to make him commence a TACTICAL retreat really goes to show how much of a badass Grievous is.

They've already been trying to do that for a while by the time you said this, dude. If you want to feel like you're contributing, you should have brought your own blaster.

I think the reason he was so weak on the ros and cw because on the final episode mace windu damaged his chest and on his chest is his remaining organs

The way he gripped dude up by his face and slammed him is the most violent thing in Star Wars history including Films😂 how the movies have arms gettin cut off but no blood ? Is it that much of a clean cut 😂

Noteworthy that without this cartoon we probably never would have the newer Clone Wars series und without that no other series (animated or live-action). Maybe Star Wars would be dead without Clone Wars.

Let's be grateful that the fight scenes here resemble Star Wars a lot more than Samurai Jack.

Can't begin to express how much this scene changed my life when it came to drawing and writing. It's pretty much perfect. So many elements are at play, every character has a personality and every emotion they wanted you to feel, you felt it....all in like a 3 minute time frame.

Grievous is terrifying, but can we also talk about the entrance the arc troopers made!?😁 The Clone Wars micro series is awesome. I love Star Wars!😁

They were dramatic with this, a squad of clones alone could eff Grievous up, I have seen it, and it was harpoons not blasters, it seriously degraded him

I had forgotten how ridiculous this old cartoon was, with a ridiculously overpowered General Grievous and a bunch of chicken-$hit Jedi. Someone like Shaggy would never have become a Jedi to start with.

I remember the first time i watched Revenge Of The Sith, the Clone Wars i knew was the 2003 one, and when they metioned Grievous i was so hyped, but then boom: Weak Coughing Droid with 4 sabers, even tho i wont say i was dissapointed because he still did the Lightsaber spinning thing.

Grievous's strategy of using fear and surprise tactics to then absolutley decimate the rest of the group is how I feel when I play Dishonored 2

Something I love about this is how when the Arc Troopers show up, Grievous runs because while he may be powerful, he’s not force sensitive and cannot deflect gunfire. He’s running, but not running away, he just needs to evade the gunfire and get close enough to slice up their heavy blasters and then kill them.
But then the gunship showed up. That is WAY too much firepower for him to handle. He’s an absolute unit, but he knows when it’s time to leave. Only when a whole as gunship shows up does he finally decide to retreat.

he only uses 2 lightsabers in the majority of the scene, him using 4 was insane
