I can remember the pain.. but it no longer hurts. For those who are in the early days of heart break just remember there is a day you will be free from it. You just have to live life and keep going.. because you’ll make it. There is a person out there you don’t know yet that will make you feel like they did, except they will love you back. You just have to be the best version of yourself, for yourself first. then when you are the best version of yourself and only then will the bricks fall into place. The woman that hurt me, even when I hear her name, doesn’t effect me one ounce. The woman I found who loves me like I love her is 5 times the person she ever was. There is a song called thank god for unanswered prayers. It’s such a wonderful song almost as good as this masterpiece.

This song ...where do I begin? Thank you Bonnie!!! I cry everytime as it brings me back to a time in my life when I knew I was holding on to something that was gone :( Saw her in person up close and cried sooo hard when she sang this wow! the emotions overflowed but in a good way today.

This is a true story from a news paper article about a guy living under a bridge
The story goes his wife picked him up and she drove them to the court house to file for divorce. The did the paperwork hugged and cried. He told the judge you can’t make a woman love you if they don’t…The ex nfl song writer and his friend started working it more uptempo bluegrass and one day the writer told his partner to come listen to what he had written on the piano for these haunting lyrics and that was how this melody came out. They recorded it and sent it to Bonnie Raits people she took it and recorded what we now have this beautiful song. I look at it as sad but hopeful in the respect that this person tried but failed and is shedding all this passion into the song. Music can hurt and music can heal all at once life doesn’t promise us rainbows and sunshine but every once and a while you get lucky and get to feel something wonderful 😢😂
