Your teaching abilities are absolutely incredible!! You are the reason I just bought my wife the "Tula Pink Bernina 770" for our anniversary. I don't sew but after watching a lot of your videos...I think I may even give this a try. I hope you will be in South Florida some day just so I can thank you in person!
Thank you for all you do!!
Thanks for setting me straight about not making more that 16 stitches in an inch. I was making them way closer than that. I loosened up my stitch length and my projects are going way faster. Lol
ОтветитьThank you, thank you, thank you! GREAT suggestions for sewing. MUCH appreciated!
ОтветитьI love this series of videos for EPP. The level of detail and explanation is exceptional and exactly what my brain needs. Now, I wish I could find exceptional videos like these that explain template creation, how the shapes go together and how to match sizes of different shapes so they will work together. Thank you for a wonderful series that has given me the answers to so many of my EPP questions.
ОтветитьOh blimey, I WAS a licker & a knotter…..when you said you never knot, I broke into a sweat, but then I saw you do the thing I do when I finish….don’t know why I haven’t tried this before…thank you 👍🏽🙋🏽♀️
ОтветитьTula is absolutely fabulous!!!!!!
ОтветитьThe little corner knots are like a lifeline in knitting! I love your technique to secure the corners with four little knots.
Ответить😍😍😍
ОтветитьDoes she have any tutorials on foundation paper piecing?
ОтветитьI wish I knew the exact colors of all her threads
ОтветитьTula, you are absolute magic. Thank you for sharing and teaching your craft. I have wanted to begin EPP for so long and now I feel ready to go ... and I had a blast learning with you!

ОтветитьJust love your sense of humor! Thank you for all your suggestions!
ОтветитьI am new to your video's and I wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed them And I learned so much. I consider myself an experiened seamstress of 60 years but you told me a lot of things I never knew or I have forgotten. Thank you and I will definitely be following you.
ОтветитьWhat is the name of the quilt behind you???
Love those bright colors!!
Love the star you are working on!!!!
It’s amazing!!
Love Tula’s teaching!🙏❤️
ОтветитьI haven't tried EPP yet. I have watched the tutorials but haven't gotten up the nerve to pull the trigger and try it. I think this would be fun to attempt.
ОтветитьThank you for this video series. I've been sewing for a long time but you have some great tips to make my projects come out better. And I love your sense of humor :)
ОтветитьWhat an awesome tutorial!! Tula is so insightful on EPP. I have hand sewn for many years and watching this and hearing her explanations and rationale for doing certain things gave me so many aha moments! Thanks for providing this great tutorial, FQS 🪡
ОтветитьOMGosh!! I howled when you did your thread Public Service announcement. That is soooo me!!
Thank you so much for making these videos. They are amazingly detailed and packed with everything you need to know. I’m learning so much that I do need to watch them multiple times. Excellent tutorials. 💖💖
LOL 😂 we are not in a thread drought! 😂 🎉😂
ОтветитьWhat a fabulous tutorial!!
Thank you, Tula! From someone who has a lot of wrist issues, and also wants to learn how to sew while sitting comfortably - in a comfortable chair, “THANK YOU!”
She’s the best. I was intimated with EPP, NOW I CANNOT wait ….❤❤❤
ОтветитьThank you for sharing your talents and for the great videos! How about a video on making your thread bag for up to 60 small Aurifil thread spools? I would love to have such a bag!
ОтветитьTula, I know this is an older video but I just became a super fan. Is there a pattern for your thread carrier? I love the organization . . .
ОтветитьThank you❤
ОтветитьThese tutorials are so helpful! I’ve learned so much. I feel much more prepared to start Queen of Diamonds next month. Thank you to Tula and Fat Quarter shop for all this help. I do have a question, what is the pattern for the thread case Tula showed in this video? Please and thank you.
ОтветитьI watched all of the paper piecing videos and am so glad I found then, You are terrific!
Ответитьloved your video and learned a lot! ❤
ОтветитьThis is the best video series I have viewed about EEP. Thank you so much for a great detailed presentation with humor. I'm ready to create. 🙂
ОтветитьLove to watch Tula Pink and her teaching is great❤
ОтветитьI also agree about the direction to sew and how it affect the 😊entire arm, shoulders, etc..big thanks..!!❤
ОтветитьHa ha u have great sense of humor!! Love it..!❤do more..!😂❤
ОтветитьPlease make more videos like these! So very informative and easy to understand
ОтветитьI must be colour blind I thought it was green. However so much to learn here. Does she ever tell what threads and weight she uses
ОтветитьI’m blown away on how many little tricks she just taught me. I’ve never made a quilt and now I will !! Thank you for such a great video series ❤
ОтветитьI also sew backwards!
I love your knot cause I can not tie a knot! I am a beginner and found out I am doing most things right. Thank you so much for the video s !!!
As an Occupational Therapist, your discussion of movement and torque is spot on.
ОтветитьThank you very much! 🌷💐🌷
ОтветитьThat snipping your thread at an angle is a game changer. Thanks Tula.
ОтветитьThe 3 videos were just great. I’m new to English Paper Piecing and learned so much. Thank you Tula and Fat Quarter Shop. ❤
ОтветитьI was so sad not to get into your Sunrise EPP class in Sisters this summer, but after watching your 3 part EPP series, I feel pretty confident that I could pull this off! I'm starting small with Diamond Dust, and hope to graduate to Nova. Thank you for a really well put together set of tutorials.
ОтветитьHah! We are not in a thread drought!😅😂❤
ОтветитьI was never taught to hand sew towards me. I was always taught to sew "backwards". I love hand sewing though, and maybe this is why. It does feel like the more natural position.
ОтветитьWhat type of paper do you use? Heavyweight, does it make a difference. Also where do I purchase things like your thread kit with all the colors, tools that you use? I'd like to buy a kit if you have it. Can someone tell me? Amazon, Tula's site? Looking to do my first English paper piecing and I'd like to have the best tools, quality and Las the longest. Her last video went so quick I didn't catch which type of glue stick she mentioned but she said the type didn't over glue or under glue. Can anyone help? My daughter and I are getting ready to purchase our first tula pink bundle for our quilt and we want to be prepared a ND do it right. Thank you for any help!! Love her material and quilts. So colorful and such bright happy colors. It'd brighten any room.
ОтветитьWow. I really enjoyed the ergonomic points of this tutorial. I have an office job by day, and it's really important for me to consider these things. For example, I stopped crochet because it inflamed my wrist.
Knitting sometimes also inflames my carpal tunnel. This is really good info. I will be thoughtful next time I try hand sewing.
I just watched your video On paper piecing, I kind of thought myself! But let me tell you , your technic of how you sew backwards it’s going to save me a lot of pain ! I was doing it backwards and I have arthritis and now dr said I need carpel tunnel surgery! Maybe I was sewing the wrong way all this time .
So thank you thank you so much for this video . !!!!!!
Patty.
Oh and the sew tite where can I buy one ?
Best EPP teaching ever!
ОтветитьYou are an amazing teacher, thank you so much. I have never learned so much in 3 classes as I have from watching you. You also tell the "why" behind what the reason is and I appreciate that. I have done some EPP but didn't enjoy the process because of things you have covered in your class. I think now I would be ready to give it another try because I love the look of the work.
ОтветитьThank you! I'm new to the EPP world, & I tried your "backwards" technique, plus I was stitching on an angle instead of straight across, WOW! what a big difference, my stitches are so much more hidden! Thanks so much!!
