The kid is confusing gender and sex. There’s only two sexes, male and female. Gender means masculine - feminine. The only reason I agree with gender being on a spectrum is because not one person is only masculine nor only feminine. We each have different things about us and what we like that is considered more masculine and more feminine. Again, sex: male or female & gender: masculine and feminine.

Why is it ok for some students agree with his shirt, but the kids who disagree with it can demand he remove it? Why is one opinion even in this microcosm of a single classroom, more valid than another?
