Here's one. Despite the song telling you it's a button nose, does anyone recall a carrot nose on Frosty? I just had this argument with someone who insisted it was a carrot, even though it's clearly not.
ОтветитьIm not sure what the real song is but I swear in middle school we would sing up on the house top for Christmas i sang that song 4 years straight and I wanna say i remember reading up on the house top on the music sheets
ОтветитьThats because you heard him say, 'Well I'm not going in there' before and after Harry (would have said) 'That place gives me the creeps'. Sometimes you can hear what animals would have said while you're thinking.
P.s. the Grinch is supposedly a who wearing a robber's doggie mask. Like if Bill Murray did it for a short film.
P.p.s. the 'North Pole' is the location of the 'four rivers' of wind referred to in Genesis.
P.p.p.s. an' and o'r are commonly used in modern folk lyrics; this may have encouraged the respelling of the names 'Donner' and 'Blitzen'.
okay looked up in the 1912 copyrighted "T'was the Night Before Christmas" and it has Donder and Blitzen, this was a 1976 reprint so it may have changed overtime but at least since I was born it has been Donder and Blitzen (although I thought it was Donner!)
ОтветитьOn the Gene Autry song it sounds like Donner and Blitzen and if you Google the lyrics that's what you'll find also. I think that one is more of pronunciation than Mandela.
ОтветитьModern versions changed the names of the reindeer so we're not going mad lol
ОтветитьUpside down Christmas trees been around forever. As a kid my uncle put his tree upside down.
ОтветитьHe absolutely said that place gives me the creeps. This is the first Mandela effec I’m am 100 percent certain about
ОтветитьJust found your channel. It's awesome. I never realized just how differently I remember things. I swear it's weird and spooky.
ОтветитьI learned about Svalbard in high school when they asked us to do a work on 4 countries of our choosing. I tried to find a country really far north and found it perfect for the assignment. After that I've been wanting to visit that place for years, I never knew there was a mandela effect related to it.
ОтветитьMy night before Xmas actually says donder
ОтветитьI noticed the north pole not being listed on maps recently but nothing the Rockefellers produce is true or accurate. Our educational system is a lie
ОтветитьSettled their brains?! Doesn’t even make sense!!! Ugh someone switch the timelines back 😭
ОтветитьThe north pole one actually spooked me because 2 weeks ago I downloaded google earth for fun and only then realised the north pole was missing (?)
I still remember as a child drawing the map of the world and there was always the north pole at the top with ice and the bottom with ice. The Arctic (top) and Antarctica (bottom)
We still have the arctic but its not at the top but now a mass of ocean covered by thin ice?
❤All of them as they supposedly are now, are different from what I remember. And specifically the poem; I’m freaking out!! I have 2 very old copies of that night before Xmas poem; one is a Little Golden Book version and another is a very large book but both are written by the same author and they are both different!?!?! One says, “ … had just settled our brains…,” and the other says, “ … had just settled down…” !! So now I’m wondering why the wording is so different? Did that author ever write 2 versions?! When I was little, I only ever recall my Mom reading it as “settled down for a long winter’s nap”. ?? Btw, I love your channel and thank you for all you do 💗 😊
ОтветитьWho is trying to erase my child hood???? No north pole and dunder and Mifflin are the new reindeer names cuz all of this is as WACK-a-DOO AS AN EPISODE OF THE OFFICE
ОтветитьWe're definitely in another reality. Another Mandela effect of my life. Misery in this reality came out in 1990. I remember the movie Misery coming out in the 1980s b/c I was a kid and my parents were discussing the actress who played her and laughing about it. Now I'm finding out it came out in 1990 when I was an adult and had graduated from High School.
Ответитьi only watched home alone less then two weeks ago and i remember him saying in a soft voice this place gives me the creeps so odd
ОтветитьUp on the house top. 80s...
ОтветитьDOWN.. SETTLED DOWN
.. I DONT NEED THIS STRESS PATHETIC ELIETE.
the noth pole goes down into a beautiful hidden land. Watch them hide my comment 😃. Or will u. Am i a threat? Na, how far will i go😃
ОтветитьYour not going to play me BOY.....we remember
ОтветитьI'm still waiting for the Mandingo Effect to hit me
ОтветитьAnother Mandela Effect: What I remember I watched Mommy Dearest for years and my family would discuss Joan Crawford's husband. Joan Crawford's husband was over PepsiCo in this reality. In reality, I'm from he was over Cocoa Cola and it was known for years that was the company he ran and everything else happened regarding Mommy Dearest, the board of Director's meetings etc. Except for the Beverage company her husband ran.
ОтветитьThis is great!❤
ОтветитьOur brains is correct. I memorized the whole original poem when i was 19 for a children’s lit class in college and I’m 37 now. Same with dunder and blixem. We’re essentially playing a giant game of telephone with ourselves and humans past…makes sense things get changed over time.
ОтветитьTHE POLAR EXPRESS SANTA IS WEARING MITTENS NOW
ОтветитьUpside down Christmas trees to my knowledge was meant to keep small kids and pets from getting under them and tearing them apart and yes I’ve seen them in stores and online and have always wanted one myself but they’re very expensive!
ОтветитьIn A Visit from St. Nicholas, the original printing of Twas the Night Before Christmas by Clement Clark Moore in 1844, Santa's reindeer are named Dunder and Blixem. The names are Dutch words that mean "thunder" and "lightning". In 1844, Moore changed the names to Donder and Blitzen.
ОтветитьGrim and Mild talked about Dundee and Blixem and Donner and Blitzen. It’s both and Clement Moore is also no longer the author of ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas as another guy is credited
Ответить"Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer" the lyrics are 'Donner and Blitzen' that's what we remember. "Up on the HOUSETOP"
ОтветитьIts donner and blitzen we have a family video when my brother was young (hes 45 now) and he could only remember the last 2 so he says "come on donner blitzen donner blitzen donner blitzen and donner blitzen"
ОтветитьI see many effects with the government.
ОтветитьI definitely remember Donner and Blitzen and I just came across a little residual evidence in a Seinfeld episode. In S6E10, Kramer has a job playing Santa and Mickey works as an elf. They are in Jerry's apartment leaving for work when Kramer says "On Prancer! On Dasher! On Donna!..." Mickey corrects him and says "its not Donna, its Donner!"
ОтветитьAnyone else notice the title of Home Alone has a lower case "e" at the end? 🤔
ОтветитьThe Night Before Christmas book illustrated by Christian Birmingham with the copyright of 1995 has “just settled down for a long winters nap”. The reindeer names in this book are Donder and Blitzen.
ОтветитьI had to memorize up on the house top for a school play in the mid 90's and that's how I always sang it.
ОтветитьUpside down Xmas trees from what I remember were mainly in Europe due to small rooms so people would hang them from the ceiling, upside down to create more floor space… 🤷🏻♂️
ОтветитьIn the original printing the last two reindeer names are Dunder and Blixem, which in Dutch mean 'thunder and lightning'. When Clement Clark Moore, the credited author, printed the poem in 1844 these names were changed to Donder and Blitzen. Later publishers listed the reindeer's name as Donner, the German word for thunder.
ОтветитьThe Home Alone line is in the second movie when they think Kevin went into the Park. Thats when he says that place gives me the creeps.
ОтветитьFrosty had a red scarf.Period.
ОтветитьI have seen some American Christmas movies... but in the German Version. I always found it funny to hear the Names of the Rendeers and 2 of them were in German translation definitely Donner and Blitzen! I always thought that would be a tribute to the German origin of many Americans 😮 because these names in German mean Thunder and Lightning!😊
ОтветитьI have wrapping paper with frosty wearing a red scarf
ОтветитьSomeone has to have a Time Machine to go back in time to change these things- but who?
ОтветитьI remember the red scarf.
ОтветитьAnother one. That’s is crazy. I remember the word down in the poem. WOW !!!!
ОтветитьAnother one. I remember donner and blitzen.
ОтветитьSome of these are simply examples of you not searching long enough. The Home Alone case, for instance. If you have a version that omits the said like, that’s strange, because every version I own and have ever watched has contained the line. You tell everyone to search. I recommend following your own advice.
