Some frequently asked questions:
How much fuel do we carry - We carry about 175 000 liters (TBC) Enough to have excess when arriving in Gibraltar.
Water? We make our own water onboard. The water used to rinse the boat is desalinated salt water.
Itinerary? Unsure at the moment. First stop Gib to refuel and then Barcelona.
Night navigation? Yes we run a 24/7 watch system. The boat does not stop, no fuel is taken and of course no anchoring, its 4300m deep out here.
Guests? Guests very rarely join for crossings, this is also a time crew have to prep for an upcoming summer.
Crew? 16 full-time crew on the vessel.
Longer Vlogs? I do my best just to keep consistent. I edit when I can and prefer to post more regularly than just 1 long one. Editing takes a minimum of 4 hours and its outside of work hours so please understand.

Any others please ask away. I am deathly busy at the moment with deck work, editing in free time and uploading daily images and video to @yachtarience Instagram page. I read your comments but cannot always respond.
Otherwise, thank you all for amazing support and response as well as a heap of you coming over to Instagram.
See ya soon!
Greeks drink coffee they don't do that ...
Only the hotel work and the galley!😅
This yacht has a full-time masseuse on-board? 👀 I didn't even know that was a thing, but if I ever win the lottery -- a few time in a row -- then I totally want that.
ОтветитьRealize this video is 2 years old, congrats again on your engagement.
When going transatlantic (or pacific) why not rig life lines and clip in (with a life jacket on) any time you go outside of the cabin (or cockpit) as competitive sailors do? Further in the spirit of sharing all jobs maybe chef should be detailed to bilge cleaning the next time he makes the crew sick. Lol
very interesting, I just wondered if the owner bought the yacht with the crew ? maybe are compensation packages revisited?
ОтветитьQuestion for watches and everything when your doing the exterior and interior walk-arounds if there someone that stays on the bridge or no
ОтветитьCurious but what kind of water do you use to wash the boat? Sea water or is there enough fresh water to use? I suppose it seems silly to wash salt water off your boat with salt water.
ОтветитьHow about engine crews?
ОтветитьI swear I have never seen an ugly crewmember on a super yacht. All beautiful people.
ОтветитьBut do you have internet on board?
ОтветитьGreat video. Only thing I didn't understand is why are night walkarounds for during Atlantic crossing? To insure boat stays intact?
ОтветитьAwful music!
ОтветитьI am new here I am sorry if u have been asked this question before do u own this yacht?
ОтветитьWhat is the ship’s name, thanks
ОтветитьIts called apparent wind fyi XD
ОтветитьI would love you to do a video on desalination so you can do that cleaning.
ОтветитьI love this video but the jaring music and volume made it impossible to watch with the volume on
ОтветитьThanks Jared and the team for this videos. Is wonderful to this team how you are is professional and how everything is working. Your owners can be proud of you guys. BR
ОтветитьIs there always someone on the bridge when underway or does the autopilot basically handle it and you just check in on it?
ОтветитьYes indeed i’ll gonna be there just for kelly only
ОтветитьI wanna quit my job and work on yachts
ОтветитьApparently it’s bad luck to change the name of a boat🤔
ОтветитьQuestion: what’s the purpose of the walk around? Enjoying the videos man. Keep it up.
ОтветитьThe channel is absolutely phenomenal! I am so glad I found you! I love how you include all of the crew members in the vlogs. It’s so interesting learning about all of your job duties, seeing how the ship operates, and “experiencing” what life is like working aboard a charter yacht. Also, the drone footage of the Arience at the end reminded me of a James Bond movie! All the best to each of you! What an amazing group of people! It makes me want to crew a yacht! 😊
ОтветитьHow does the night watch effect your daily routine ie sleeping pattern? Do you sleep during the day, have a rest day... or just deal with it...? Thanks 😊
ОтветитьAll you videos very interesting 👍
ОтветитьU need to wind up the gramophone! 🥴
ОтветитьAmazing videos please start saying the size of the vessels though I am very curious!!
ОтветитьYou are the only guy I know who has washed a superyacht while crossing the Atlantic! 😂
By the way, how long is the yacht you are on?
I just want to fish out the back of that thing while its cruising across the pond.
ОтветитьJared just out of interest if one wants to book to sail with u guys where would I need to go
ОтветитьFor some crazy reason I was surprised to see you waxing the zipper on a survival suit, so now I'll share something from my endless (it seems like) Bering Sea crossings (the Bering Sea was named for a 16th century explorer / engineer Capt. William "Ball" Bering). Because we always wore rubber boots (Xtra Tuff) we slipped trash can liners in the tops of the legs of our survival suits for faster donning. Love the videos.
ОтветитьJared, great if u could post the link to hire this Yacht...I know the cost👍
ОтветитьI single-handedly command a 360" vessel
ОтветитьJared reminds me of Messi
ОтветитьSweet shots. Have you ever lost a camera overboard?
ОтветитьYou brought me back to the years I was at sea ..... OK I didn't spend time on yachts but I was on Chemical tankers When I was Ch Mate I was mad when there is a salt ( sea water ) on deck every time one day before arrive I take my gang and we were washing the whole shop with fresh water and believe me the paint last longer Anyway me and my talking to much Thanks for the upload Stay always safe
ОтветитьWhat do you do for security when in areas like the horn of Africa or the southern Philippines to protect yourself from pirates?
ОтветитьThe video and content quality just shot to the next level! :)
Ответитьhello Alex
ОтветитьHow do you get so much fresh water to rinse when crossing the Atlantic?
ОтветитьAgreed, camera work is brilliant!!
ОтветитьGreat work mate, keep it up😃
ОтветитьDo you know what is approximate fuel consumption on yacht like this to cross Atlantic? I guess fuel is cheaper for yachts as it is purchased in bulk?
ОтветитьIs this a princess?
Ответитьi love the full crew vlogs
ОтветитьGreat watch bro but terrible music(opening music anyway).
ОтветитьQuestion regarding the weighing issue. Would a hanging platform stand still at sea? Like a pendulum where you move the boat but not the thing. I imagine hanging a board from a single point and putting a digital scale on it might work??
ОтветитьHey Jared, how much is that boat your working on worth?
And btw only the second vid of yours I have watched and already love your content, keep it up bro!!
