ОтветитьI hope this board comes back for x770e. Or a mini dtx model
ОтветитьDoes this blow up am5 cpu's too like the Hero mobo?
ОтветитьFor what is the 6pin?
ОтветитьWhy are AMD boards especially overpriced?
ОтветитьI lived to see intel mb cheaper than amd😂😂😂😂
ОтветитьIf only that bottom PCIe was x4 instead of x1 I would've been on this.
ОтветитьThe lack of mATX options for AM5 is disheartening. I don’t care how good this board is, no one should be buying it. These hardware companies have lost their minds with pricing for this generation, and they need to take a hard kick in the pants by “high end” skus being left on the shelf.
Ответитьwill the asus 4090 fit okay with this?
ОтветитьNow this is how you make use of the mATX form factor. For the longest time mATX has just been mostly pointless in my opinion. It's slightly bigger, without much more features than an ITX board. This thing is packing some serious features and this has to be a game changer. Just phenomenal. The $1000 aussie is just insane tho so no way i would ever use this but i hope this brings in more competition from the other manufacturers.
ОтветитьWant that MB so bad but the price is ridiculous everywhere I check
ОтветитьI really want to purchase this, but I see one design change layout that actually made me say WTF? That is the PCIE slot for the graphics card. Most itx card slot is on the very button edge of the board so the board is not blocked by the graphics card when installed resulting in a cleaner look and displaying your overpricef MB. Even if I install the card vertically, the riser cable will block some of that gorgeous face of the board. Its the main reason why I choose MITX. Other than that, this board is way ahead compared to other MITX. Because of that PCIE slot, I might have to get the MSI MPG Z790I Edge WiFi.
Hopefully MSI and ASUS will release a firmware update to increase RAM support up to 128GB. So Again ASUS.. WTF?
My Bad. I thought it's an ITX because of 2
RAM slots. Now ASUS really need to release a 128GB RAM firmware upgrade.
Just got mine in the mail, now to wait for the 3D chips
ОтветитьWill this fit in a SSPPUD Meshliscious?
ОтветитьThe only justification for the existence of mATX is four DIMM slots for extra memory capacity (you might sacrifice speed for capacity but the choice is yours)and 3 more PCIE slots.
Now back when they release this form factor it was pretty much populated with PCI and over the years the GPU got beefier and storage moved to nvme so they started to loose PCI slots… and now we get this thing…. First 4xPcie is barely enough, anything that are worth having is either 8x or 16x (electrically), if they put a 10gbe or a Thunderbolt chip and then say, looks here is one slot that is 4x, I might be okay.
Second, just 2 memory banks. Well, DDR 5 has more density than DDR 4 so I might overlook it. But anything special about this board can be done with a microITX. And the daughter board is just gimmicks… this things sells for premium as a overclock champ, but in reality not always flagship chipsets or the quantity of vrms determines it’s ability to overclock… remember x570 boards not so long ago? Yeah those were fun overclocking… 🙄
Most good overclock boards comes in the flavor of B550. So naaa as I see it there is no point for this board.
What build did you use it for? :)
ОтветитьDo you think the price in € will reduce in some mounths at least of 100€?
Ответитьim still waiting for the mATX build, hope it comes out soon
ОтветитьNow I know with PCIe expansion cards in the past, if you plugged a gen 4 drive in one slot and a gen 3 drive in another, you would only get gen 3 speeds out of both, same with the DIMM.2 before this. I noticed the interface for this card is split into different "teeth" I guess you could say. Will this Z.2 card let us run the gen 5 drive at full speed if we have a gen 4 drive on the opposite side?
ОтветитьHow would it reformat the stick so I can install windows with it?
Ответитьjust pulled the trigger on this board it was at a reasonable price ( i say reasonable ) but it started at $1069aud went up to $1169 few weeks back but pc case gear dropped it to $969 aud so i snapped it up yesterday ..
yet to use it waiting for the 7950x3d ..
And WOW what a board looks even crazier in real life !!
Guess that is what $1000aud of a mother board looks like..
i plan on using this till the end the socket so just under $1000 aud with these features is a steal !!
Where's the display port for the integrated graphics on the CPU
ОтветитьWill you do a step by step build with this board and the new NZXT h5 flow ? 🙂
ОтветитьThis is going to be a great board in a year when it’s half the price down to where it should be.
ОтветитьBut how do you fit 4090 🤔
Ответитьpretty sure asus will never understand what "ridiculously over engineered" means lol, but i gotta admit i love this board, what a beauty, definitely made for this channel for sure ! can't wait for the overkill build !
ОтветитьNow if only Lian Li would make a TU-150 Mesh 😜
Ответитьi love the video and content you are making keep up the good work
Ответить$610cdn for the strix x670e-itx at Mem express
thats insane
$600 board?
Asus you can keep it.
mATX is best and you can't change my mind.
ОтветитьThis board costs 1000€. What are they smoking. 😂
ОтветитьWhat's your address bro ? 😄 joking, mad board 👍
ОтветитьI don't think mATX will be long-lived this generation thanks to the huge-ass RTX 4000s :(
ОтветитьIs the PS/2 port for over clockers?
ОтветитьThis is a well designed motherboard to be sure, but why the PCIe 4.0 x1 slot? I feel like a x4 slot would have been better as a lot of higher end PC sound cards and capture cards use a x4 slot. Seems like a bit of an oversight on such an expensive motherboard.
Ответитьman I find super hard to recommend a board at this price with only 2 ram slots, my b660 tuf has the full 4 for less than half the price, this one looks awesome and the full platform does but idk... do you imagine to pay all that to need to compromise on the ram?
ОтветитьWill this fit in the lian LI 011 mini while being able to install a 360 rad?
ОтветитьThis is the board I'm looking at. Thanks for the review.
Ответить1 hell of a motherboard that is...love it
ОтветитьAwesome video as always. My Gene board arrives today with the 7700X. Already have the Asus AP201 case ready for it.
ОтветитьAwesome to see some seriously high end mATX boards - now we just need some high end mATX cases (NZXT, re-release the H400 please!)
ОтветитьHope we see USB 4 become commonplace on AMD boards
ОтветитьAsus didn't get the memo that pandemic pricing is no longer a thing
ОтветитьSick review as always! No CD tho!?
ОтветитьI like the music that you're using in your videos!
ОтветитьSick looking board. Wait, I only have one kidney left.
ОтветитьBeautiful explanation of the mATX board Nick! For such a high end motherboard why does it still have that green/blue port for mice/keyboards. Aren't all modern day keyboards and mice utilizing the USB now instead of that old port? I feel it's silly unless I may be missing something! Correct me if I am wrong.
ОтветитьIf it wasnt 600 bucks...
ОтветитьThe DDR5 dimms so close together will get the memories very hot!
Ответить
