How do you wind up with so many boxes from ipsy? I thought the second box was better.

I’ve had to stop getting ipsy due to financial and moving in the past year so I haven’t got ipsy in over a year. I got a promo email saying I’d get my ipsy glam bag back for $13 and when I did it they charged me for their regular ipsy little bag. I contacted support and I’m waiting to see if I get my refund they promised but it’s still showing they are putting my ipsy together so idk they really funky right now

Considering I’m underwhelmed with my one box…I can’t imagine how I’d feel if 3 were on my doorstep

I canceled my Ipsy account and still get emails saying that they are sending me packages, but I dont recieve them. I closed the account that they were charging so they havent been able to charge me. I would never use them again. I didnt even like their products they were sending me, which is why I canceled.

I was charged for the February box in March. I'm still waiting on my box to arrive. According to the app, they are still picking out products.

Same thing happened to my mom too. She signed up and they took the money. Then within a couple weeks took another $14. I am still not sure have ever gave refund yet. She never got but the 1 regular box too.

Wouldn't you know how many accounts you have? If not you are not making choices. Ipsy doesn't send anyone PR for X. The MZ skin eye cream is an award winner. I think for any skin care to be retailing for that amount it literally should do a noticeable difference like literally erase fine line.

Ipsy charged me without permission for their Refreshments razor trial kit. I decided I’ll just go ahead and try it. It took like 3 months to arrive and those razors cut the s**t out of my legs.

I have never had an issue with Ipsy, and I have loved almost everything I’ve been getting. So I’m surprised when unboxers talk crap about them.

I just can’t believe that tiiiiiiny amounts of eye cream can be like $100+ but I feel terrible charging $45 for the one of a kind hand knitted socks I make. How can people not think that’s outrageous to charge that?!

I actually clicked on the email that they send to activate by accident, so I went into the website and cancel it the same day. They still charged me and send me products that looked like it was for lil kids. I hope this doesn’t happened again. I can’t stand companies that don’t have a better way to reach them as I don’t don’t Instagram or whatever other silly website they have.

I had the exact same thing happened these people stole $400 from me 30 minutes after I Signed up they created a whole new account and started shopping with my card I was having issues signing up and reached out to them they verified my card information and 30 minutes later that's what happened

The upgrade is not by accident, IPSY takes it upon themselves to automatically UPGRADE your account. Then charges your card the upgrade FEE for both boxes GLAM and GLAMX. I am currently disputing this with my credit card since I never gave them permission to do so.

Boxycharm did the same to me they charged me for two boxyluxes in one month.
I didn't ask for teo and I only have one account with them I didn't even know this was possible.

And on top of it all the extra box I paid extra for.. wasn't curated for me and I didn't even get to ouck anything out in the box...

It wouldn’t surprise me if Ipsy was stealing cause I cancelled my subscription about 4 years ago cause they were taking multiple charges per month out of my account and I only had the little ipsy

There were several times over the years I was charged and didn't get several boxes and since I changed banks they never were able to refund.

Also there were months that I got ipsy after asking to cancel my glambag. Still got charged the whole time

I had to buy another pair of those glasses. My teens love them. The eye cream is amazing i use it everyday. Love the eyeliner. I use the moisturize with the eye cream everyday. I have sensitive lips and can't use a lot of lip moisturizers but i love the kinship. I have actually bought a few of them...YOU MOST LIKELY GET 3 BECAUSE YOU GET ALL THE BAGS. WHEN ITS TIME FOR THE GLAMBAG X IT WILL AUTOMATICALLY UPGRADE FROM YOUR OTHER 2 BAGS.

I canceled my Ipsy account and I’m charged being but not receiving. They canceled on their end last month but I just got charged for this month.

Kinda ridiculous to put sunglasses in a beauty box when not everyone can wear them( I have Transitions on my regular glasses since I can't wear sunglasses)...? Honestly, comparing this box to the August 2021 Halsey box I got really makes me see how much worse ipsy has gotten.
I don't trust or like ipsy anymore. I haven't taken my subscription off pause in forever(except for a couple time I forgot to pause) since they have really gone downhill in their products and the consistent price increases quite frankly piss me off when the stuff you're getting sucks. Makes no sense to pay more for cheaper brands and smaller stuff. Plus, now that ipsy owns Boxycharm it has been getting worse in the same way...but they still up the price. I'm canceling my ipsy permanently and never going back to Boxycharm. Sad since I also found Glossybox to be untrustworthy, too.😒

I know this is an old video but girlllll I could listen to you all day! I totally get you! My brain works exactly the same! I laugh so much because I get it so much! I am 48 and live like I need an adult! Like someone should be with me that knows how to adult and like find things and keep up with the things I sign up for and figure out where my money goes and probably not let me talk because I mostly can't make words happen! I remember driving with my daughter telling her to look out the window of the car at the horses! At 3 she was like mommy, I only see cows! Well that's because it was only cows and my brain malfunctioned! 😂. Oh and also...same big head and no hair! But for me it's legit almost none. I'm pretty sure maybe there are ten hairs! 😂. You can fully see my entire scalp! I'm considering shaving it and getting into wigs or head scarfs!
Oh and bonus, I was showing my daughter a vid of you doing an Advent calendar and she was like omg!!! I love her! I watch her too! She wants to be a make up artist. I need to figure out a way to get her a make up kit so she can do it. She is so good at it. I'm just living on disability and can't afford to even live...never mind get a make up kit for her!

🛑PLEASE READ🛑 Hey guys! So in the video I don’t go into great detail about Ipsy being shady BUT I looked at my accounts and my PayPal and there is DEFINITELY something going on. Im not even subscribed to IPSY X on one of my accounts but I was charged for it according to my PayPal. Im sure its just an error and not intentional but I wonder how many people have been allegedly charged with out permission. There might be a further investigation coming in another video!
