Thanks for sharing: I love a good POV video of someone shooting in the street...and London is amazing in that light. Would love to have your feedback/impressions on the Voigtlander 35mm ASPH f/2 ? Have your files been heavily edited from RAW? Thanks
ОтветитьIntro 🤣. Love my 28mm f1.4.
ОтветитьI absolutely loved your video! May I ask which camera were you using when shooting these photos?
Ответить😅
ОтветитьThank you for another great inspirational video - one really wants to go into the streets right after having watched it ! I'm usually a 28 + 50 mm shooter, 50mm bearing the majority of my work. Recently I have acquired a 35 mm lens, and since this review is about 28 and 35, I was just wondering when to use which focal length. Many says that they complement each other very well, which I haven't understood yet! Perhaps you can spare some of your thoughts on that subject! Thanks again and thanks in advance for your reply.
ОтветитьWith the 28 1.4 -- I'm curious how you felt about the tradeoff of the size and weight?
I shot on the Voigtlander Ultron F2 for a couple years and have always been intrigued by a 1.4, but in comparison the Thypoch is quite a bit bigger. Did you notice the extra bulk and weight? Was it worth the extra stop?
Intro absolutely slayed. 😂
ОтветитьNothing wrong with getting the bag. Perks of the job really. Already shopping that 28mm
Ответитьcreamy
ОтветитьVery mellow video, given that it was busy London streets. Very enjoyable. Bit different for you? I thought were generally a 50mm shooter.
ОтветитьBeautiful music ❤
ОтветитьJust people walking !! No real "street photographs"
ОтветитьWell, nice video! How much is the 28mm coverage in the viewfinder? Does it compare to the last Elmarit or much more? Thank you very much
ОтветитьA great video as always with some interesting photos that made me want to go out and take some too. What is your favorite focal length ? I like 28mm a lot and am thinking of getting a minolta cle or leica m2 to begin with since im not rich. Which 28mm would you suggest ? Do you like this one more or the ttartisans ? Should i save and get a leica 28mm 2.8 ? I get it that the quality especialy if one pushes film is not so different but since i tried the 28mm leica from a friend it was to me clear that the lens is designed to be used without compromises. The handling is what the other brands lack of. For example the new voichtländer 28mm 2.8 is tiny and great optical and the focus tab works like a dream but having to be careful where to focus close insted of just turning the tab and get the focus to 70cm and quickly move witj the camera to around 70cm takes some of the fun away. I sm a hobbyst and dont live from photography so all these are just some geek thoughts but if i were a professional i wouldnt get a leica to use it with something other than leica lenses.
ОтветитьJust found this channel a few days ago, love the video.
ОтветитьI've always said... London is the Fashion Week for the whole year. Beautiful people.
Stunning pictures ! I've been following you for years.
“Mad enough … to take photographs” is my new bio line.
ОтветитьNice! 😅
ОтветитьWhen you're doing a lens test without having a second lens from a different maker is you can't tell if the picture quality is from the lens or the sensor/processor. Just my 2 cents.
ОтветитьDamn... talk about a gaslighting opening...
ОтветитьIntro was great. Have you tried the voigtlander 28 f2? If so, which lens would you buy today assuming you don’t own either…
ОтветитьA million more of these. 😘🤌
ОтветитьI think we all agree with the intro...
ОтветитьThat was a heartfelt and clever intro!
ОтветитьThe intro! ❤️❤️🤣🤣
ОтветитьDo the lenses feel big on the M body?
ОтветитьAside from you ‘Red Dot’ shooters, are there any other mounts, for us the great unwashed, i.e. Fuji…?
ОтветитьA wolf in 🐑s clothing?
Ответить@framelines Do you think the Typoch 28mm has enough punch for Analog Photographie?
Delta400, Tri X, Gold 200? The rendering of this lens is beautiful!
A man‘s gotta eat
ОтветитьI enjoyed Framelines #7. Unfortunately the shipping costs to NL are equal to the price of the magazine. Any workaround to avoid this?
ОтветитьCreamy..............
ОтветитьYou shoot black and white and edited color?
ОтветитьPlease please answer this question for me bc I CANNOT figure it out. IF you're using a Mac in the background, can you please tell me how you dolly chained 2 monitors bc I cannot figure it out. I ain't gonna buy Apples monitors to have two but cannot figure out how to dolly 2 LG monitors to my macbook pro. I begging for someone to help me out. 🤞
ОтветитьHahaha the intro is soooo relatable yet so unfortunate. I want to showcase my street photography on my channel, but I feel like I have to have a product in the title in order to bring in the eyeballs.
ОтветитьThe color rendering of theses lenses and the M10 and whatever you are doing in post is very nice. I've got a 35mm Summicron and a CV 28/3.5 (tiny) so unlikely to get either of these but you are doing some lovely work with them and making them very tempting.
ОтветитьThat intro felt personal 😭😂
*deletes paragraph
Ive been curious on these lenses to try on my ZF since I love the 28mm focal length. Great set Shane!
Damn, you got me on the first half Im not gonna lie:P
Ответитьloool good one hahahah
ОтветитьHad me in the first half. (intro)
ОтветитьWasn't aware of this brand of lens. I'm switching to Leica in June after more than 30 years as a pro. Sons are grown and making their own way in the world now so time for me to get the tools I've always wanted. Haven't decided on optical artillery yet so will take a look at these lenses you've featured, though most likely will opt for Voigtländer Ultrons. We're both Irish street photographers in London so twould be good to meet at some point. 👋
ОтветитьThypoch Simera is communist CCP junk.
ОтветитьThe intro... you had us in the first half, not gonna lie :D
ОтветитьMost enjoyed video in a while, I dont even follow reviews anymore, but when i do there are like hundreds, it is sad.
ОтветитьWhat a creamy video (no but seriously, for "soup only"? how about ice CREAM or a dessert)
ОтветитьJust, lovely photographs from a simple approach though the experience shows...
