Python Django 7 Hour Course

Hey all just a reminder that Django 4.0 is set to released in December 2021. While this course does use Django 3.2, I have read the release notes and confirmed that there are no changes that would affect the code in this video is 100% compatible with Django 4.0

I noticed that it works kind of slow, such as when you want to change rooms or view someone's profile, etc. It takes a few seconds to do that. Could you please elaborate on this? Why does this happen, and what can we do to optimize our web apps? I face the same problem when using any technology; my web apps always seem to work slowly.

@DennisIvy, I've noticed that the StudyBud app has pagination for all of your rooms, but I don't see that code in the GitHub repo for the app. Can you provide some instruction for how to create that pagination?

This is the forth Django tutorial I tried and it's absolutely the most professional complete one. Thank you so so much.

What confuses me is everyone saying you need to learn html css etc before you learn django but its not a front end framework, so disappointing and confusing. I dont want to learn front end at all

Try to bring us the possible errors that can be raised. On the very beginning of this course, the first view you created in the base app, I've tried to do it the same way, running the server, but it pops up a message, No module named 'base.app'. I've spent 3hrs on this coz I can't continue with the tutorial

I've started and stopped multiple hours-long django tutorials. I've seen almost everything the interwebz has to offer on django education (almost, I am sure I have missed a few). I ultimately settled on this one as my "base education" video. Thank you for really taking the time to constantly explain exactly what is going on at every level and why. It really helps the user connect the dots faster and develop a better overall understanding of what django is and what its really capable of. Your video is truly a complete game-changer for anyone that is willing to really sit down and take the time to go through it. Amazing work my friend.

Hey Dennis, why did you make a POST request for PUT and DELETE? Have any special reason here? (BTW i'm a very beginner and i've seen many times on the internet something called decorators like @api_view(['GET', 'PUT', 'DELETE']) and this brings me some doubt).

I highly suggest any beginner who wants to learn a full stack needs to learnt he basic OOP for these frameworks this is how they are made in the first place
