He is so G*A*Y
ОтветитьI love every recipe this chef makes and his humbleness and generosity with advices are unbelievable.. thank you so much❤️❤️❤️
ОтветитьWait, can I use stove lighter or those kitchen lighters.
ОтветитьSugar is way too much thin.
Ответитьvery nice sir 😮😢
ОтветитьI've seen people mention using raw sugar; the point being larger grains tend to melt better and burn slower.
ОтветитьThe creme brulee looks delicious. Thank you for the recipe. I am lactose intolerant so I substitute heavy cream for vegan plant based heavy cream and full fat coconut milk in the can.
ОтветитьIs it the same bake time for the wider shallow bowls?
ОтветитьCan you put it in the fridge after you caramelize the sugar?
ОтветитьMade this with a blackberry coulis and it was awesome! So easy, I ran out of heavy cream so I used vanilla tillamook ice cream for the rest, surprisingly didn’t seem to make a difference! I did have to bake it longer though, not sure if the ice cream did that, or I didn’t use hot enough water, or maybe I was just overly cautious lol. Also didn’t do the torched sugar at my husband’s request, but the blackberry coulis on top was a game changer.
ОтветитьJust went to make it. The Pyrex shattered in the oven. Glass and water all over. 😂
ОтветитьPSA!!!
Do NOT use an electric hand mixer for this! I did & they came out like German Pancakes, haha! Still tasty, but puffed up then deflated-- it was so ugly! Lessons were learned that day.
he talking off topic stuff makes the whole thing more complex
ОтветитьMade this perfectly the first try, so creamy, definitely recommend 😍
ОтветитьVanilla beans
3 cups of heavy cream
5 eggs
Half a cup of sugar
Pinch of salt
Caster sugar
I’ll try every recipe you post and your book is on my Amazon wish list :)
Can the sugar be caramelized in a pot and then poured or spooned over the cream?
ОтветитьI tried few recipes from the internet and it was a disaster. It's not cheap recipe so I was really angry. Now I just follow yours and it always turns out amazing. Thank you!
ОтветитьMy 1st attempt and it came out perfect. I even bought the torch just for this. Shall make more of this in future..yummy!! Thank you John ❤
ОтветитьDo americans know any another thing rather than cups? What is a cup? Use grams
ОтветитьOnly a gay chef would worry about looking like he has dirty hands 😂 still ❤ you John you’re a great cook
ОтветитьIs crème brûlée just a cheap thing to eat?
ОтветитьCan we do this with any other milk?
ОтветитьDonkeys like you get all the women also
ОтветитьOne of my favorite desserts ❤
ОтветитьMy brother in law which happens to be French and a very skillful cook said the amount of sugar asked in this recipe was way too much compared with the amount used in France. That’s why the level of obesity in there I guess.
ОтветитьBroil worked fine for me.
ОтветитьI just made it and it was delicious. I don’t have a torch and only have brown sugar. I used a hot spoon, but it was hard burn it a little. I was so easy to make.
ОтветитьTwinned
ОтветитьTalk a lot !!!
ОтветитьThank you for helping me thru culinary school 🙏
ОтветитьMaking this right now. I had leftover egg yolk from a white cake I made and have a torch that has yet to be used. I also never had creme brulee…only creme brulee macarons which were amazing so I think I will love this ❤️
ОтветитьOmg yum Suger porn
ОтветитьMine came out really liquid… did i not add enough eggs? I also tried to refrigerate it for an hour to see if it would’ve hardened a little bit nothing happened.
ОтветитьThat Herend China is sooooooooooooooooooooooooo Fabulous and expensive
ОтветитьThanks alot for the recipe, turned out to be the best crème brûlée! 😍
Ответитьif you use a large "backyard" style torch do not let it tip upside down, keep it upright with a slight tilt but not a lot of tilting. Reason is you will get propane on your brulee and that doesn't taste good.
ОтветитьNice i will try this FYI brûlée is French for burnt
ОтветитьAny way to do this if you're lactose intolerant?
Ответить❤
ОтветитьYUMMMMMM. I will totally make this as the dessert with my first at home dinner date with the boyfriend.
ОтветитьI love it 😂🎉😅😊
ОтветитьThat was full cream milk right? Not cream?
ОтветитьYou didn’t even tell us how long to keep it refrigerated
ОтветитьDo I use cooking cream?
Ответитьthis dude talks too much rubbish, totally unnessesary for me to learn what I came here to learn😢
ОтветитьThanks for the Video. Great Recipe & love the way you look like your enjoying yourself as your showing us how to make this yummy dessert
Ответить❤
ОтветитьIf you don't have a kitchen torch I would recommend checking out Adam Ragusea's video on torchless creme brulee
ОтветитьReally nice recipe, thanks.
