I am 53, and was diagnosed with sub-clinical hypothyroidism and had all the symptoms listed + :
1. Joint and body aches
2. Heart palpitations
3. Extreme fatigue (rendering me useless and needing 10-12 hrs of sleep min. to wake up... only to be tired just after a couple of hours again)
4. Brain fog/loss of memory
5. Depression/anxiety
6. Onsets of sudden drops in blood pressure (very scary)
7. Hot flashes/chills (grossly disturbing my sleep and getting up exhausted)
8. Constipation (ended up with a large, toxic fecal burden in my guts)
9. Bloating
10. General abdomenal pain and discomfort
11. Uncontrollable weight gain
12. Uncontrollable late-night food cravings (savory, salty, carby foods)
My Dr. never suggested any holistic approach, only kept suggesting repeated testing. My heart Dr. was the first to suggest all my health problems are related to thyroid issues and suggested I see a endocrinologist ASAP. My regular Dr. refused to refer me 🤔.
Then, I decided to take matters to my own hands. After abundance of research and watching tons of videos on hypothyroidism, I adjusted my diet, way I handle stress, and added these to my daily intake:
1. 2-4 Brazilian nuts/day (don't take more than 4)
2. Smoothie made of organic frozen berries (strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, and blueberries), only with water - no milk of any kind!
3. Eliminated sugars and most sources of food that contain sugars
4. Taking 1 tsp of Manuka honey and 1 tsp of organic Black Seed Oil (buy in a glass bottle) in a 6oz of warm water every morning on an empty stomach.
Three months on this regimen, and my tests went from almost 7 down to 3!
Reduce stress, reduce stress, reduce stress!!!

Thank you for such an informative video. Hair loss can come with thyroid issues. Is hashimoto’s an exception to this I wonder? I’ve had hypothyroidism since I was 15 and am now middle-aged. I’ve been on levothyroxine since. But due to my more than usual hair loss, my dermatologist tested me for those antibodies and it came back very elevated at 451. I will be following up with endocrinologist. Though they just tend to dismiss complaints and say to continue on meds. I also took 100 mcg of selenium and 50 mg of zinc on one day and felt very sick to my stomach. I’m thinking it was the supplements. My only symptoms are some fatigue and the extreme hair loss. So depressing though. I’ve been trying to avoid gluten and sugar. And I really limit dairy. Hopefully this will help. Any other suggestions/advice is greatly appreciated 😢.

Ive been told I have 2 Hoshi markers but have been treated for hyper thyroid, Im pretty sure I have leaky gut which Ive also been told over the years it was IBS. I have been bloated for over 7 yrs now and I thought that was because I lost my gallbladder. I stopped eating breakfast and lunch for over 7 yrs and only eat dinner. It helps but it doesnt matter what I do as soon as I eat or drink something Im bloated. Before my gall bladder removal I was pretty healthy I didnt have thyroid problems I was also not allergic to everything it seems now. Ive been getting very hot and clammy cold to the touch but feel like im in a sauna all the time off and on all day long, it worse during the summer of course but its constant with no breaks. I also out of no where tear up usually when watching a movie or tiktok video I get that feeling you get when you cry its intense then I tear up then it goes away after a few seconds, As said Im always hot yet get goose bumps at the same time, hair and nails are growing faster than they've ever grown face and body but have hair loss on my head, quite irritating this auto immune disease jajaja. For me the always being hot is the worst, I havent been outside in the summer in 7 yrs I just get to hot and feel dehydrated all the time

I’m confused. I was just diagnosed and now researching for knowledge. My doctor told me that there’s no cure and that changing my diet is unnecessary but I’m also seeing info in videos like these that suggest otherwise. I’m not sure what to trust. I’m hypothyroid and started Levothyroxine about 1 week ago and have begun feeling much better but I’m wondering if diet and supplement changes would be beneficial?

Very informative video.
I’ve been having these symptoms over 21/2 years. Fatigue tire all the time hair is very brittle
constantly coming out. Anxiety sadness for no reason heart palpitations off and on. Cold all the time. Extremely dry rashy skin
I’ve went to the dr. Told them bout all these symptoms I’m having and that I can’t even function through the day I be so tire And told them to look at the front of my throat. It doesn’t look normal.
Had me to take a ultrasound of it.
They said I have a goiter. Ask how did I get this. They said it’s nothing we will check it again in a year. I need your help. I’m looking to find another Dr that would look further into it and right tests to take. Can you please tell me what tests I need to take to find exactly what I have so that it can be treated and I would like to feel like myself again. I don’t go out I stay to myself. I’m tire of feeling like this and no one is helping me with these symptoms. I’m struggling each and everyday.

Hi doctor, Your video was so helpful to me . Doctor I would like to ask you whether there is any way to consult you. I am a hypothyroid patient. I am suffering from edema all over my body for about 6 years till now. Always my TSH level is normal whenever I tested. But I always have all the symptoms of hypothyroid like pain in plantar facilities, hairfall, bloating, severe weight gain etc. Whenever I consult any doctor they only says me to avoid cruciferous veggs and cold vegetables, none other information i get about my health conditions. But i feel worse day by day as I gain weight like that..
Please kindly reply to my comment ... It would be a great help to me...😊❤️

This information is excellent. Unfortunately I live in the UK and they don't seem to recognise Hashimotos. I haven't even been referred to Endocrinology but apparently they do not treat the same as you. Can I ask if you are aware of any UK physicians? Also can I start eating Seaweed to help with iodine or do I have to be tested first

I am on my third Doctor for hashimotos, two of which are endocrinologists, and I keep getting the same deal with everyone. "there's nothing you can do about it. Just take the Levo and learn to live with it." I'm a 36 yr old man but I feel like I'm in my 60's. I would absolutely LOVE to have a doctor like you. It really does feel hopeless when dealing with the medical field these days but you seem different. Can you take patients from out of state?
