Attitude Era vs. Current Era: WWE Head to Head

Call me a Vince McMahon guy if you want, but I care about Story, Character, Emotions, and Surprises more than stupid 30, 40 minute matches filled with nothing but high-spots. Attitude Era > Current Era

Lol. This Current-Era guy knows nothing about about Global Outreach!!!
I grew up in a remote village in India in the 90s. Fortunately our town, unlike many other Indian villages, received 24/7 electricity and many of us owned TV sets. The Attitude Era aired on the Star Sports Network in the 90s. And it was HUGEEE.... Tuesday mornings in Schools were insane. We were all imitating Austin, Rock, Taker and DX. I got sent soo many times to the Principal's office for telling my friends to suck it.
Today it's nothing. Almost entire India is completely electrified with 5g High-Speed Internet connectivity. And no one gives a damn. Sure people would show up if WWE is in town doing a show. But nothing more than that. Most of my friends have kids now. Some of those kids, under age 10, are familiar with Roman Reigns and John Cena. They know the names, they watch a few videos here and there. But nobody watches entire shows like we used to. The Attitude Era is incomparable!!!!

Let's just say we had real bad guys in the attitude era but let's take it back a lil bit more .. like the ECW OR WCW days too. They had brutal wrestlers. Bad to the bone real bullying mofos... This era is soft..

Attitude or Ruthless Aggression era has variety type of match and even variety type of item/weapon to used.. WWE match these day is way too plain and boring and too clean should i say.. Even kid watch WWE back on Attitude and Ruthless Aggression era, so what the problem making WWE a bit rough now?? And please changes the design of belt to make it easy to differences from each other..

Is this even close in comparison lol attitude era is way better in every aspect. Let’s start with roster the roster was way better and more entertaining 2 the music was better 3 the storylines had way more heart put in them 4 they took more blows to entertain us today they are like let’s ban this let’s ban that 5 the titles had more meaning and value today they giving out championships like it’s on the Oprah show smh and list just goes on so yea attitude era over the top period .

After 2007 is the start of the modern day wrestling am not saying WWE died after 2007 but upto 2007 is the real peak of the WWE i mean from 1997-2007 remember Cena Vs umaga last man standing match??? One of the realest looking match ever in history

So my take away is the attitude era had the better end product for consumers and the current era has better production and lights for your hd tv. And that people pretty much sums up the whole point you can watch the new stuff on a new TV in 2023 and not be entertained or you can watch The attitude era from old recorded VHS tapes from 2000 on a box TV in a hole and be more entertained.

No era can beat the era of late 90's to 2015 the best WWE we ever witnessed

Attitude era had the best promos and storylines. The current era has better matches but boring storyline. But no one denies the fact that attitude era was fun and had much better viewership but times change, people grow old. You can't expect Austin and HHH and Undertaker to wrestle forever. Also, the women's division is way better now than it was during the attitude era when women were just meant to be objectified and easy on the eyes lol

Attitude Era can only be possible with the likes of the Rock, Big Show, Triple-H, undertaker, Goldberg, Steve Austin etc.
With current stars, there can't ba an attitude era.

Having grown up with the likes of Hulk Hogan, Andre The Giant, Macho Man Randy Savage, Rowdy Roddy Piper, Ultimate Warrior and the DEBUT of THE UNDERTAKER (Genuinely creeped me out!) so MANY more! (I Saw the 1st THREE Wrestlemania's) I fell out of touch with wrestling (I heard of WCW) UNTIL the "Attitude Era" and it rekindled the sense of "wonderment" and AWE of my childhood! Stone Cold, The Rock, DeGeneration X, etc... I have since fallen out of touch with wrestling again... my grandkids are reintroducing me to my 3rd generation of wrestling... but not going to lie... I miss the Attitude Era's spark!

No one will be talking about the current era in 20 years..
