How does the problem sound?
ОтветитьScott i really really like you and your analysis. But i now i right smitten with "change from state of war, to a state of peace!" Heck ya imagin the word without non anylasispart of the CIA overthrowing democratically elect countries, governments and regions of the worlld. Our government and politicians going on about the evils of socialism. The truth is we already have socialism for the mega wealthy, big war, pharma, oil and agra. They can crash banks, take manufacturers off shore the jobs and the tax payers bail them out over over & over. Thank yoy Scott!!!
ОтветитьI turned my bike on anchor e bike and the assist button also have done this for 10 monrhs now but when push throttle down to move it doesn't move I checked the motor to see if I hear It clicking and yes t b e motor is making noise when I push throttle but no move ent
ОтветитьGood info
Ответитьcan anyone tell me what causes this because i have it too but i only have my bike for 6 months and it happend after getting a new back tire after it flattend
ОтветитьThank you so much for posting such a helpful video. I have the same issue after about 1K miles or so. I am not sure if I should take all the magnets out and use epoxy, or just try to use the simple method you posted. I will probably end up using your method and go with CA glue. I am guessing the CA glue will last another 1000 miles or so, but worth a try. epoxy seems to be much hassle for now. Thank you.
ОтветитьWhen I saw the tube of superglue I was thinking that wont hold for long...
ОтветитьHey sorry bro like I was just wondering how did you know or what was going on cuz you didn't actually say what the problem was it was you just had to fix it but I don't understand how you could tell her what was going on with the hub motor I'm a noob forgive me
ОтветитьI would of used something better then super glue which is not very well suited for this type of application being that super glue or even crazy glue. #1 it does not fill gaps very well. #2 it is not very heat tolerant. #3 Even a slight bump or vibration causes it to break its bond. #4 if it gets wet with water and soaks for a while it actually will dissolve and lose its bond.
Tho it is better of a fix then nothing. but when you have to redo it next year or in a few months. What I would do would be to remove the center of the motor leaving just the magnets. then use some acetone or even rubbing alc on a rag to clean out any grease off the inside of the ring of magnets. then get your self a tube of some thin high-heat epoxy such as Permatex 500-Degree High Heat Epoxy or JB weld High Heat Epoxy in the double Syringe
mix up a batch and use something like a pop cycle stick or a small tiny paintbrush to get the epoxy in the gaps between the magnets and a few dots of it on the top edge like you did with the super glue. then use a rag with acetone to wipe the faces of the magnets off before the epoxy sets to make sure you don't have any high spots or sags that would interfere with the shaft spinning. Tho if you get a thin coating on the faces of the magnets as long as its thin and don't cause any rubbing is ok. alternatively, you can also use clear enamel nail polish instead of epoxy. PS that also works on the copper windings to cover any nicks in the wires clear insulation coating
Do you think a Vanmoof S3 has more or less the same motor? I think it does. Either way, your video is quite educational and informative, thanks a lot.
ОтветитьThat aint no heavy bike
ОтветитьI didn't quite understand what was the problem at the first place. How do you diagnose a problem due loose magnets? I have a vibration on my bike from the motor once in a while, is it possible there are also loose magnets?
ОтветитьGreat video. thanks for sharing. I haven't used my electric bike much but feel better that if there is a problem I can address it even if it is the motor.
ОтветитьHi, my ancheer bike, after fully charging it, on level 1 peddle assist it rides for around 20 minutes. Butnon level 2 and 3 it only rides for 2 3 minutes and cuts off... if i press the assist module on button, it doesnt turn on. Ibhave to disconnect the battery and connect it again. Then turn it on and it turns on. But still same problems, cuts out. Does anyone have any ideas what it could be???
ОтветитьHEllo, what was the symptoms, that you took it apart?
Ответитьbut what was the problem in the first case?
ОтветитьOh yeah!
ОтветитьI have over 3,500 miles on my 48v 500w Ancheer Hummer with a 52v Battery and have no issues at all.
You can totally just unplug the motor wires from the controller and move the wheel wherever you need to.....
What!?
ОтветитьVery helpful. Thanks
ОтветитьWARNING: Ancheer, made in China bikes, now have a recall for battery fires!
ОтветитьMy bike will try to go but then the motor cuts out...I pedal a little and the motor tries again for a few seconds then cuts out again...any help would be appreciated thank you !!
ОтветитьWhat tool do you need to remove the hub screws?
ОтветитьHi. Please I would like to ask you if the macwhell wrangler 600 have the same think to do because I have the bad Hube.
ОтветитьA good lower cost bike
ОтветитьIronically I got an ancheer too, but voilamart rear hub motor , my bike was just working fine yesterday, plenty of miles on it . Not sure how to use a volt meter but seems like the controller is fine idk . I did splice stuff years ago, alot of melted tape, but like I said worked fine for years
ОтветитьJust wanted to thank you brother, after ruling out every possible failure option of my motor, turns out it's been the magnets this whole time, I took the motor apart completely but there's no chance I'll start epoxying each and every one of them, hell no, just gonna give 'em a nice bath of CA glue and let it rip.
ОтветитьWhy is your rear brake on the left?
ОтветитьYou didnt show what the problem was
ОтветитьMy bike feal like ,,, if I stop the power and I peddle. It dragging the motor,,
What is wrong in that,,
Should of showed the symptoms of this isue while on the bicycle before the repair ,well mine is making noise when I throttle and cuts out ,bit when I'm not on the bicycle ,on the stand ,it works fine ,I wonder is mine issue same, thanks
ОтветитьThank you so much for posting. Can you tell me the name of the place where you actually purchased cable. Thank you so much
ОтветитьI don't think it will last long
ОтветитьThere's another liquid that almost looks like copper I seen one guy put on his and his never got hot and I guess it's holding it together as well
ОтветитьI sincerely appreciate your video; nobody has been able to take the job to try to fix my e-bike; nobody in London, can you believe it? I am following your instructions to open the cassette and find what’s wrong inside it,, thank you again!
ОтветитьWhat did you experience when the magnets went loose?
Ответитьwow, thank you so much!
ОтветитьHi guy! Thank you very much for your video, it’s very helpful!🤗
ОтветитьWhat Grease did you use for the Teflon gears?
To me they say at bike workshop that normal bearing grease contains to much acid in it and after some time gears teeth Wil break off.
I have a small electric bike that is brand new that will not turn on unless it is hooked up to the charger. When I have it plugged in it will turn on and it shows a full battery and horn honks but no throttle. When unplugged nothing will turn on. Totally dead. Any advice??
Ответитьmy hub has a rough spot like @ 7 oclock it the rotation slows down what could it be?
ОтветитьIs this why my ebike doesn't have power and it shows error 03 on screen?
ОтветитьThank you so much I need to get in my motor and service it and I was about to remove the gears with that special socket . Saved me a lot of headaches.
Ответитьwhat was the initial problem? did the motor not work? did it make noises?
ОтветитьI'm looking into working at a electric bike service shop and the first thing I wanted to know was how to service the motors. Well thx for the video, that helped a bunch :)
ОтветитьI was riding my fiido d1 ebike and the rear wheel locked up all of a sudden, causing the bike to skid off to the side with me on it. It seemed like something inside the rear wheel locked up, any ideas what it could be? It was a momentary thing, the wheel worked afterwards, but caused me to brake abruptly.
Actually there is a problem with my bike (i didnt take good care of it). Sometimes, the pedals don't work. What I mean is, when you turn the pedals, the chain turns the rear wheel, however, sometimes the rear wheel doesn't turn... its like pedaling backwards.
But sometimes it does work. Mostly when it is warm.
Its like there is some engagement pin inside the rear wheel that sometimes engages and sometimes doesn't..
Anyone know? many thanks!
What are the symptoms the bike was having with this particular fix? My issue with my ancheer is……. The electric system completely shuts off when I try to put any bit of stress on the motor. For example: I can lift the back tire up and initiate the manual drive function with the throttle on the handlebar. And the wheel spins and the electricity stays on. But when I try to actually use the throttle or peddle assist while I’m riding on the bike…. It instantly shuts off. Does anyone else know this problem? How can I fix it maybe? I’ve checked the batteries and they all seem to in great condition with volt meter readings. I’m assuming it’s something to do with circuit boards or pinched wiring maybe.
ОтветитьANCHEER TECH SUPPORT SUCKS!!! Mine is fully charged but it only runs for few seconds and it dies I have to disconnect the battery to turn in back on for another few seconds. Lights and horn works even the system dies. Is there any fix for that please?
ОтветитьWhy did you not explain just what the problem was with the motor before you fixed it?
ОтветитьMy motor vibrates will this fix it
