The real sad part about the Apollo program is it stopped. We had such momentum going .......then we stalled into the shuttle program. Then the ISS with its kinda and gentler international feel.

Geez, its just a video.
It's not like the contents of this video disprove there was too much money invested in failed attempts to land on another planet.
Of course too much $$$$$$$$$$$$$$ went into these missions and after the first landing, they spent billions and billions more, to study human existence and the relativity to the earth vs moon? What in the world did they discover that helps mankind overall....not much if anything.
If there is no monetary interest for NASA, they wouldn't constantly maintain interest in the study of the moon surface. A big waste for mankind as a whole, not for the few who have their own agenda. Most of these missions are not impressive. Entering the lunar atmosphere does nothing for human life in general. It is only successful for those who have alternative interests, such as valuable minerals. Now with advanced technology and AI, space exploration is a no brainer. In the end, "humans" overall gain nothing but news that people have landed on a moon. In the process, all that money used for successful and failed attempts could have been more wisely used in our "cradle" called Earth, where humans are designed to live, thrive and die.
