I've been enthralled by this movie/song, since it was the first VHS tape I ever bought. Yet, now I'm torn; Seti was born of Ramesses 1, who's own father was also called Seti, though not a Pharoah. Ramesses was born into a military family, NOT of royal blood. This means that Seti himself, and even Ramesses 2 were not of royal Egyptian blood. Perhaps they were not Jewish, but this research has given me reason to believe that the life of Ramesses 1 is far more interesting and worth more study.

I truly enjoyed this song off this movie i worked out with it,it would give me that motivation i always needed to imagine breaking free from skavery running as fast i can so i don't end up caught and killed.. songs like this almost drove me to tears especially for seeing how those poor people suffered too smh.

My favourite opening song. This song has similarities of The Godfather theme at the beginning

If you think about it, the mother of Moses is kinda of a foreshadowing to what God will do to Jesus, she threw him into the river, which under normal circumstances would equal certain death but he survived and his survival, saved the hebrews and freed them and delivered them to their promised land, just like how when Jesus was crucified, his death and rise, has given us a new hope, a new promise to a land where we could live with him forever. Reminds me of another foreshadowing when Abraham was asked to sacrifice Isaac to foreshadow that what Abraham was willing to do, God did it and was decided long before creation itself.

This movie and soundtrack is annoited from God, and I am a Christian who can't stop watching and listening to this beautiful soundtrack

In my opinion it’s the greatest opening to an animated movie ever. If there’s ever a film that deserves a live action remake it’s this one. And thankfully it’s not Disney so it hopefully wouldn’t be butchered.
