Your personal statement is very good but I feel it is too long especially when you have to send a cover letter which incorporates all the same things and your skills and qualifications also covers a lot of this.

I think all the managers I worked for in the past used this template to get their jobs. Not a single one had the ability to motivate the team, never mind leading a team. Very bad organisational skills and they could barely use MS Word. Believe me, the number of times they sent me documents that I had to reformat because it makes my skin crawl when I see things like that, and I'm the noob. There was only one goal they were interested in achieving. Their own personal ambition of becoming a manager. After that, everything else seemed unimportant.

This is great, but I'm a little confused. Some people say the personal summary/statement shold only be 2-3 sentences and the resume should only be one page. Is it OK for the personal statement to be this long since it will probably push the resume to more than one page? Love the channel, thanks for all the content.
