Bruno’s onix are what he and his fighting pokemon use for weight training. I like to think the two piles of rock on each side of his room are actually his slumbering onix! The rock piles’ arrangements do look pretty serpentine!

problem with this is you spent more time rebattling with slow battles, that you could have saved more time leveling up with trainers instead first before battling a gym after another gym,

that little extra time to grow just another level or two would have paid off sooner than you know, tauros was absolutely underleveled in most cases and outpaced everything and was hitting on par with the comp. hitting that hard and being that fast at lower levels is great but its better even if its a couple leves higher. thats where you lost time in your run.

not only that but you broke your one rule to not rely on luck alone which you did at the end, and not only that, you took more time in doing so also.

p.s. id like to sugguest experimenting having kept tail whip. to use for these end battles, one of those and just about a good hit from stomp or body slam will murder things.


i chose to do stomp, strength, tail whip and toxic. i start with tail whip since i outpace everything, then no more than a stomp to knock it out, i'll use strength if i want a harder hit to em from the start. but if its something thats like waaay over me that i cant beat outright, toxic it up and potion up. it dies, you heal, and its ready for round two! seriously tauros hits f***ing hard and strenght alone can knockout a lot of things stomp is just so i dont have to use as many strenghts

Why are you not allowing to retry VS enemies

Moveset wise hyperbeam on taurus is goated, cause you dont charge when you frag, so you can bodyslam, fish for para, then outspeed and have a huge kill range with hyperbeam.

Idk, this run was a bit of a "I need to make it look somehow decent".
Okay, maybe the Pokemon was good enough to deal quite consistently vs the E4 (even tho many things might have gone wrong with Lance) and it just had a bad matchup vs The champion.
Still, it had struggled way too much vs Exeggutor and had to literally pray for a blessing by Blastoise's RNG.
A realistic time for him to be somehow consistent vs Rival should have included an extra 15-20 minutes to grind 1-2 levels.

I spent over twenty years trying to catch Tauros in the safari zone. I never caught it.

ArrK9 is better than say Arrcaneenae, which I have heard recently. Like they have never heard the of the word nine.
