Why is EVERYONE Buying This Gaming Case? - Corsair 4000D Airflow

Will I get problems if i have a GPU thats using 3 slots? I also want to fit in a M2 SSD

im buying a $270 7000d airflow because thairs no faster hardware

I've built in that case 3 times now. I like it, has everything you need really, and it keeps all the dust out very well if you have pets. Those dust filters of Corsair's are legendary imo.

Corsair already did this back in 2014, and in an even better way with the C70 Vengeance. 9 HDD/SSD slots, max airflow, it even has a reset button incase your pc freezes.

strange... I just remove mount for HDD, and organase there all cables to PSU without any issues, also what is good about them - parts! anything what is broken (I broke side glass panel ) easy to buy and fix all.

I’m surprised there was no mention of the tempered glass. A lot of people have had issues with it breaking easily, myself included. Corsair is quick and happy to replace it for free, but it’s probably because it’s such a common issue.

my favorite thing that i noticed building in about 20 of these cases, the screw holes always line up with the motherboard perfectly, ive always had to kinda screw the screws in sideways on old corsair models

Is the case compatible with the insides of the HP ProDesk 600 G2? That also includes some upgrades to the RAM and a GTX 760. Is it possible? To move the motherboard to this case? I NEED ADVICE!!!

I have a 4090 crammed into mine. The middle front fan needed to be a slim fan to accommodate it. Now I need to add some top fans for better exhaust. If there's an option I would swap out the glass panel for a mesh one. This machine will heat my small apt on those cold winter mornings.

i was a about to buy a lian li case with 2 glass pannels, but while searching a noctua fan i saw a pack of corsair 400d + noctua double cpu fan i wanted. Got both for 200 and feel like the airflow difference was a wayy better idea than an esthetic case.

my fans wont light up can anyone help, i pluged the SATA into the adapter into the PSU

This is a great case. It’s honestly a case for life (if hardware doesn’t exceed available size).

Don't buy the 4000D. Even the 5000D is too small. And if you buy the 5000D, you want the 5000X.
Spend the extra cash and buy the 7000X. Just for a few more inches. I know it's absurd but your fingers and frustration level and cable management will appreciate it. I got the 5000D, bought some panels off ebay to upgrade it to the X, and still regret I didn't blow gobs of cash for the 7000X. I'm going to have to build a second case just for my NAS server. You won't be putting many platter drives in this thing.

Don't waste your money on the Custom Cable Kits (Type 3 Type 4 get it right or it won't match your PSU), don't waste your money on a high wattage PSU, and don't waste your money on all these RGB fans. In fact, if you can avoid all the RGB all together, it adds a rats nest of cables and is time consuming and wastes your time.

Basically, K.I.S.S.
Spend the money you save by avoiding Corsair RGB lighting products and put it into a higher end motherboard or CPU.

If you really, really, really want a cheap case, just recycle a midtower case from the 1990's. Modern motherbaords still fit in them just fine, if you go air cooled. If you got water cooling, with an AIO or otherwise, you'll ahve to spend to buy a new case. Which doubles your build cost because now you not only have to buy the AIO, you have to buy a new case and more fans.... instead of just leaving the side panel off

Amazing case! With the amazing airflow, never experienced the fans screaming for air especially on heavy editing season. And with the purple rgb touch, clean minimalist look makes it look like a high end build 🔥

I should get this case; my full tower from 2014, a Cooler Master Storm Stryker, is a little over 13.5 kg/30 lbs when EMPTY. Plus, it can't support longer graphic cards either. Under $100 USD too? It's either white or black for me.

Bought it in plack for my cosy stealth setup. Replaced the front with a custom Walnut wood air intake. the case looks like something that cost twice the price now!

I just recently was moving and dropped my PC (insert Linus joke here) anyway, all of my components ended up being fine except my case was completely screwed. So I ran out to my local Best Buy and picked up one of these. Solid case. I was running a 220t before, and transferred over all of my fancy fans and lighting controllers!

I bought the 4000X little bit bigger inside

I literally just bought this case to build my first PC in it. Has good airflow from looks, and fits everything. Haven't built the system yet cause I'm waiting for my 13600kf, aio and 7900xtx.

I wasted my money on the 7000X instead; simply due to the fact that the door is on hinges, watercooling is easier to remove/modify, and more fans for that RGB goodness.
But honestly, the 4000 is nearly the same in every aspect as the 7000 except the price lol
I don't regret the 7000 though, absolutely beautiful case. Also since I open the case very often, it's very convenient, so worth it!
