This is a description, I have yet to read this book in its entirety. What is more haunting than the specter of a civilization's collapse. Does this book sound phenomenal? Yes! The abandoned temples of Angkor Watt, where the circle 5 a French team analyzed the cosmos in this region. The Maya cities overgrown by jungle or the somber vigil of Easters islands statues. What he's getting at is the population in their effort to leave imprints for Armageddon or Worlds end. The result, is not completed by this author because the tables turn. I keep wondering when capitalism will collapse, it keeps finding new ways to shift the crisis to the environment or the working classes in impoverished nations, but this strategy has it's limits.

There are essentially two types of society: mixed economies with public checks and balances, and oligarchies that dismantle and privatize the state, taking over its monetary and credit system, the land and basic infrastructure to enrich themselves but choking the economy, not helping it grow. The lesson of history is that privatized oligarchies polarize and become failed states. Mixed economies with governments strong enough to protect their society and people from predatory rentier exploitation are successful and resilient.

I believe that it is not so complicated. I believe that society is getting worse because parents are not doing a good job of raising their children.Less children are getting an education. Most cities push the dumbest children on to the next grade because of other misguided beliefs that have been pushed on them despite their knowing better.less children are being taken to church and the ones that are taken do not go to the confirmation classes where they are taught how to be a good godly person. They are not able to take holy communion even though some do once again because they are being pushed forward by people who have lessened the standard in an effort to be more inclusive, accepting and blurring the line between right and wrong.
