Hi, I have piriformis syndrome /sciatica on my left leg. It was misdiagnosed as hip degeneration in 2019 so it was never treated at all. Now its chronic and walking any real length is a problem. I am getting physiotherapy for this and she gives me excersies to do, but i will add yours in aswell. Can you tell me how long it would take, if i was doing these exercises every day, to get completely healed? Thank you, Siobhan from Ireland
ОтветитьDo we need nerve flossing if we have sciatica due to piriformis ?
ОтветитьStretches just make it worse. Ive tried strength exercises but they left me too sore to work. Ive been using ice packs then my tens unit with a heating pad. Its markedly better and i plan on trying the stretches and training when the spasms subside
ОтветитьWould my knee replacement ten weeks ago cause this I have it on my opposite side I'm in agony
ОтветитьI have this . Doc they did mri but, shows normal... is painful. Makes my life miserable

ОтветитьBrilliant vid Doc, very helpful. Thanks u.
ОтветитьCan the nerve be permanently damaged from the constant compression or will the nerve down the leg eventually heal ?
ОтветитьThank you to you and wife for this video. ❤ So much helpful information and tips to alleviate my pain
ОтветитьExcellent video!
ОтветитьThanks!
ОтветитьHOLY F🎉CK! THIS SHIT ACTUALLY WORKED ALMOST IMMEDIATE RELIEF 😢!
ОтветитьDr. Jared, I cannot thank you enough for this video (among many). I have suffered from very serious hip and radiating pain down my right leg for months. My RMT thought I had some nerve problems; my chiro suggested that it was a piriformis problem, but neither provided the massage, stretches, and strengthening exercises that you so comprehensively provided in this one video! I tried all of your suggested massage, stretches and exercises just now and felt an instant relief! From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU so VERY, VERY MUCH!
ОтветитьIf none of these work, could it be something more serious? Every time I stand up straight, the pain from left buttocks to my ankle is agony. Waking up in the morning is fear inducing due to the pain.
ОтветитьThank you very much for this video. It was so worth watching and learn so much about sciatica pain👍

ОтветитьSOMETHING OR SOMEONE IS A " PAIN IN THE ASS "
ОтветитьHank you🤗🤩
ОтветитьHi there! Thanks for all your helpful sciatica videos. I’m wondering, my sciatica seems to be triggered when casually walking after about 5-10 min. How can I work with my chiropractor and physician to understand why? I do have a herniated disc in my right posterior paracentral disc indenting the thecal sac minimally displacing the right S1 nerve root from time to time. Currently, I’m feeling sciatica but it feels like my piriformis especially after walking.
ОтветитьThat last one really really helped, thank you!
ОтветитьLet’s learn please 🙏 it seriously helps the pain
ОтветитьThats what i have .
ОтветитьI have suffered from severe lower back pain and tightness in my muscles around my hips and pelvis which was then causing sciatica. I watched your sciatica video which led me to this video. I’ve never heard of piriformus but it is 100% what I have and I’m so happy to have found this video - thank you!
ОтветитьVery happy for all of your stretching and strengthening tips. Totally helping me!
Ответить@Tone and Tighten how do we know if we need to do the massage, the stretch or the strengthening? hiw do we know which of the three causes the sciatica symptoms?
ОтветитьThank you very much 👍♥️😄👏💐
ОтветитьI have been suffering with siciatic pain for about 20 years 😢 its so unbelievable I have days when l can’t get out of bed to do the exercises.
ОтветитьThank you so much, I do have the problem and it’s because I need to exercise more and strengthen my piriformis . Your exercises are great and I will start doing them today!
ОтветитьI’m a runner and lacrosse player and I have this and I’m going to do these now !
ОтветитьAll this stuff doesn’t work. Only thing that works is time and not re injuring it.
Ответитьwow. thank you! this immediately alleviated the symptoms. you're a lifesaver! :)
ОтветитьWould sleeping on your side also effect your periformis?
ОтветитьYour videos are so helpful!! Thank you so much!
ОтветитьThank you for this!

ОтветитьYour programs really help me a lot and help me more knowledge to ease the pain of sciatic nerve pain.I really appreciate your generous time to help like me who's suffering horrible pain.May you live longer so you can help more people like me.Have a gooday!
ОтветитьMy doctor thinks I have sciatic. I reviewed your video but do not seem to conform to any of the three types. Both legs have discomfort, but definitely one is a lot worse. My upper back thigh (not the lower leg) hurts sometimes, but I especially have discomfort in the front and side upper thighs. I also frequently have butt discomfort while sitting and sometimes at night lying in bed if I move around. My legs are usually better standing. Since these symptoms to not consistent with any of the types of sciatic you discussed, I am not sure what types of exercises I should be doing. I am also confused since you always mention back leg pain, not front or side thigh pain. Some of my X-rays do show degenerative disc, but some pain doctors have suggested treatment for tronchanteric bursitis.
ОтветитьThanks
ОтветитьI had been diagnosed with sciatica, but until I watched this video I didn't know that sciatica was a symptom. I am good Ng to the Dr and ask what it is that is actually causing the sciatic pain. Again, thank you.
ОтветитьThank you, excellent presentation!
ОтветитьWhat exercise to do if your tailbone is a little painful? I had abudging disk with sciatic nerve on the left side
