This Finegold GM Is One of the worst chess teacher ive ever listened ti (and ive listened ti many, both in Italy, pretty important ones, and in Croatia and Slovenia too actually, and online). He doesnt give you many suggestions on theain principles in the position (maybe "never play f6, always play bf1"...gosh!), he never even try to make you undrstand the plans, he Just speak about a single move, and even in this case he rarely explains you why, what's going on, Just saying "terribile!" or "good move".
But the thing i reallt cannot stand of him Is that among his jokes (most of the time pretty stupida, but sometimes they are really funny) there are some that go personal about some of his pupils. And most of them are made when that poor guy, object of the joke, Is not in the room!! Lots of times the poor kayne west (or something like that) Is spoken about Just to go offensive and rude to him, and also here that poor Mike Kummer (or something similar).
That's extremely rude, only ignorant rude and feustrated people do that, and this Is even worse in the case of a teacher, that should respect his pupils without making diffrences and try to get the most from any of them, regareless of the strenght (of course you can spend more time on the promising ones, but still you have to do the best for everybody, and not Just try to sink some of them). And still, well, doing this when someone Is not there....i better don't say anything else!

Karpov's play is formative. Not everyone is a tactical genius but Karpov is a strategical master. The Strategist of his era and formidable.

How could he call Carpov's game boring? When Carpov does sac it is 200% accurate. He sees through it all. His game to me are mathematical proofs.
