This happened months ago and we're just now, in the last week or so, finding out about how far-reaching the damage is and it's far from over. They could have issued an email, text or some kind of open notification of what happened.... what a punch in the gut this is. Dude who owns the company literally runs it out of his 1.5 million dollar house in Coral Springs and the class action lists the house as the business address of the parent company "Jerico Pictures". Owner "Sal" is a 53-year old aspiring actor and film producer and his father is an insurance attorney with the same name and also lives and works for a law firm in the area (McFarlane). The dude uses the money from this business selling and hoarding YOUR PERSONAL INFO to fuel his aspirations of being a movie star. In the end, YOU pay the price and he walks away Scott free, living it up in his mansion on the golf course. Just blame it on a hacker and call it a data leak...

why would a company that I have never heard of or dealt with have my SSN stored in their data base? That doesn't make any sense. Is SSN considered public data? i have no credit history if they was to tyr and apply for one of my pii was breached they would get an instant denial as im a ghost int he system it would just appear as 0 or - as i dont have credit history what os ever

It’s starting to look like ALL these agencies have gotten into selling our data then calling it breaches…but when you go to get something with your own, proper info, you’ll have to jump through a million hoops so how does a person that steals your data get anything? They’re just trying to usher in digital IDs.

Now SSN wont matter in this country. It will come to a point that not anyone will need an SSN. Makes it easier on the illegals coming here too. Theyre also trying to get rid of everyones social security. Sooo this is a start. How terrible and now the victims are being told to protect themselves when they were supposed to do that from the very beginning. Sue the whole government. This is outrageous.
