I wanna know who came up with the brilliant idea of making a phone geared towards women to look like a birth control pack? I can just imagine "Hey, you know what kind of phone a woman would want? A phone with a lipstick mirror, that looks like a pack of birth control. Maybe it will remind women to take their pill everyday!"

The commercials for these mobiles were top notch.

Back then the phones are really fun unlike now same form factor

When you mentioned that one of the phones operated almost entirely off of voice recognition I shuddered. If I had to use a phone that only operated by voice I think I would have an aneurysm after a day or two

Most of the phones at that time looked more futuristic and lively (interesting) than the current era. 😅

I had the Xelibri 6 and I loved it. I still have it somewhere if I find it I'm going to see if it works and use it again!

They were terrible. My brother had one (the one with the collar) and he immediately sold it again. My whole family here in Germany had Siemens cell phones for years, but the Xelibri was banned from the house.

I thought the Noozles was a fever dream. It was real!

I honestly wish they made phones interesting like this again. I would gladly sport a cell phone that looks like it's straight out of a Syfy movie from the 2000s.

Wasn't Huawei the company that co-partnerd with Siemens and slowly stole Siemens Telekommunication technology till they got everything they wanted and ended the partnership? Beside of that they also stole from Cisco, source code verbatim from a router.

Would love and would buy a retro throwback of the turtle shell phone with today's spec! I think LG should do it just bc. Who's knows it might end up bringing the company back on the map or least their mobile dept should be just for novelty type phones

Glad I found this channel, for what looks like a one man gig, the production quality is that on par with Network TV. Reminds me of "Fresh Gear" on ZDTV/TechTV.....from a bygone era of great cutting edge tech journalism.

There was a half moon circle phone I had. Can’t find it anywhere. It had a built ing keyboard. Does anyone know what I’m talking about?
