As I like wearing White & Blue in general, this style is perfect for me, even if I live far away from any coast.

I first caught your channel in the early batch of videos you posted. So far, I thoroughly enjoyed everything I've watched, and it has allowed me to sort out some wardrobe details for myself, among other things.

That said, speaking from my own experience in my field, I'm really glad you got a real microphone. The open room sound in previous videos always made me chuckle a little bit. I'm glad you finally got that detail put together. Cheers!

I live in a tropical country so I’ve been wearing a lot of linen shirts n pants lately.. I’m too afraid to pull off a white pants but I have a pair of light beige linen pants from uniqlo that’s very comfortable n affordable

As I am on the other side of the world. I am heading into winter. So the jumpers and cardigans are currently a go too.

I never wear shorts only wear shorts on boat most wear flannel wool pants all season in year

I may not be the only guy in Chicago wearing Nantuckett reds, but I've never actually seen anyone wearing them. I've
got the boat shoes; worn with chinos or jeans. Blue button downs are my default shirt of choice for everything.

I found your channel by way of RMRS. I'm older (50), but shared your channel with my son (23) and we're both fans of your content. I've always wanted to pull off the Breton look (which reminds me of my time in San Sebastián, Spain (IYKYK), but I am on the stockier side (working on it at the gym!), and it's my understanding that horizontal stripes are a no-go for my body type. Thoughts? Suggestions? Do vertical stripes still speak to, or nod to, the nautical style? Great work! Keep it up.

Once you get into things like Nautical style, Safari style, etc., you are getting into the realm of putting on a costume. The key is to wear one or two items from a style but not let it dominate your outfit. Some great examples are given here, but think of going to a Garden Party and finding out that you wore the same thin stripe blue on white shirt that every other man is wearing.

Can we get an overview of sunglasses? The different styles, what they mean, how to manage them with an outfit etc

Since i do not live near the coast, this style is not for me i am sorry to say. A bit to much white gives you to much laundry since you have to wash white clothes almost everyday, evry stain is quite visible. Me i prefer green and brown and dark blue, colours that match my garden and forrest.

For shoes, if you're looking for something a little more comfortable the Allbirds Tree Skippers in white/blue are a great choice. Gives you the best of both worlds. Also has a light sole which is necessary, if you're on a teak deck.

Look like a real poseur unless you own a yacht and belong to a yacht club.

I like espadrilles for summer. Unless you're going to get wet, they are a great alternative to sandals, as no one wants to look at your feet. And I would also add what you didn't mention, which is don't where your flip flops in public. Again, the exception is actually at the pool or beach.

And you didn't mention head covering. It's a good idea to keep the sun off your head, especially for those without full hair coverage. In this case the ball cap is the worst choice. It only works in the most casual of settings, and with the most casual of attire.
A better choice is a Panama hat, or a cotton newsboy or flat cap (depending on formality).

I like this, but I live in one of the most rainy citys in Europe, (Bergen) is there a jacket you could recommend for us with this style or would an umbrella be are best option?
also it does get quite windy so the umbrella might not allways be enough

I grew up in the North East and South Florida spending my summers on the cape so I love the Nautical look.
